I’ve been following this SBS weekend drama (50 episodes) since day1, but now, I came to conclusion that I am super addicted to this drama, especially the main couple. Through their struggles, it seems like the writer wants us viewers to observe and learn how love develops in such circumstances. Happiness is in the eye of the beholder, but nonetheless, as long as love and trust are there, a relationship can survive even in its darkest hour.
I keep on bragging to everyone I know how much I adore the main couple, Jun Woo (JW) and Jin Joo (JJ). Their past and struggles brought them to where they are today, and somewhat, it gives me such inspirations to keep on moving forward no matter what you carry from the past. JW’s baggage, and past relationship (the hurt from first love) and JJ’s hardship past as a mixed Vietnamese born Korean girl, living all her life in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, to me, are so real. Each of them has their own baggage they carried into their marriage relationship, but I like how both of them overcome those and step up towards their life together as a married couple.
Just now, after watching Episode 35 (the most recent one, just aired last night in Korea), I’m so overwhelmed to see this particular scene… where the two of them are having a candlelight dinner (such a pretty and romantic atmosphere *melts* great job, Song Chang Eui!), and so I made a video cut and uploaded it to YouTube.
Love how they make use of Song Chang Eui (Jun Woo) hidden talent in singing while playing the piano. A guy who can play the piano while singing, woohoo… any girl would melt to that, of course ;] And JW surely is doing such a fantastic job in sweeping off his pretty wife’s feet! Hopefully there’ll be no ugly misunderstanding scenes between the couple, coz I know better from watching all these korean dramas, that the climax usually will affect the main couple if they’re already so happy on this early episodes. We still have 15 more episodes to go before it ends, so I’m still keeping my fingers crossed!
