So what’s up?
Hope everyone had the merriest Christmas yesterday ^___^

Last night, after spending Christmas with the family, finally got home around 8:30′ish and went to watch Bad Love episode 8 (aired yesterday in Korea) with my mom *hehe… she’s hooked also*
Bad Love 못된 사랑 is the new KBS2 Mon-Tue drama with Kwon Sang Woo (the guy from Stairway To Heaven/Sad Sonata), Lee Yo Won (Fashion 70s, Surgeon Bong Dal Hee) and Kim Sung Soo (the 2nd lead guy opposite of Bi from Full House).

Though I can’t say I’d recommend this drama for my friends and family to watch, but at the moment, I’m so hooked on its soundtrack songs, especially track 7: The Words My Heart Is Saying (by Lee Woo Sang) and the last track, It’s My Love (by MAC)

Hehe.. yes, this drama will be my first LONGEST K-drama ever watched! keke..
Well, they planned it out to be 64 episodes, ending next February 3rd. So, yeah, to me, I still enjoy it as much now, maybe because it’s a family drama. Kinda draggy somewhere in the middle, but I’m glad they extend it coz this drama is actually the weekend drama I keep watching it raw, religiously, every sat/sun =)

This week, Jun Woo and Jin Joo have another sweet moment when they both go on a ski trip.
And because they use Song Chang Eui’s original voice recording song (I had posted the episode where he sang it live on the piano here) , I just had to make a cut file and keep this for my own archive ^^

Will post up the file once youtube is done uploading……

SO can’t wait for this movie to come out on DVD! Ha~ who am I kidding? It’ll be open officially in theatres (in Korea, that is), next month, yes, in 2008. Jan 10th, to be exact.

Just watched the trailer today, and I’m SO hyped up! I wanna fly to Seoul just to see this movie premiere! LOL.

Have been admiring this girl, Son Ye Jin’s acting more and more after watching her 2005 artistic movie opposite of Bae Yong Joon, “April Snow” (all Bae’s fans should watch it!) And of course, I trust that she can also pull off this baddie character in “Open City”, playing opposite of Kim Myung Min, the guy behind the great success of MBC drama “White Tower”
I have no doubt about his acting either. You see why I’m so excited? Haha. What an awesome combo!

- Son Ye Jin will play as Baek Jang Mi, a femme fatale who leads an international criminal organization.
- Kim Myung Min will play as an investigator who is assigned on SYJ’s case, but things start to get complicated when SYJ’s character becomes attracted to his character.
- This is a 60-million won estimated movie, directed by Lee Sang Gi

I’ve been listening to lots of Sung Shi Kyung’s songs these days, ever since I found out that the song played in one of the “April Snow” (Bae Yong Joon & Son Ye Jin’s 2005 movie), was actually sung by him and not Tim. Haha… their voices are SO similar!

Anyhoo. Here’s their duet performance on KBS Music Bank, last November 30th.
Quite nice harmony, isn’t it? =)

Just finished watching a few performance clips from KBS Music Bank, and this one particular performance caught my attention. It was the duet of Lyn, the Korean R&B queenie and Crown J, yes, the rapper.
And what song did they “reconstruct” and recycle? It was the “Loving you… is easy coz you’re beautiful… la la la la la… ” song. Remember that one? An oldie one, originally sung by Minnie Ripperton back in the heydays.

And since it was done so creatively, and I thought their voice blended so well. They compliment each other.
Lyn, even though she hasn’t always been my fave Korean ballad female singer (I prefer Lim Jeong Hee or J, coz I thought Lyn’s voice tends to vary from time to time. Sometimes she can be kinda.. off? so yeah.) But this one, it was one cool performance, done smoothly. So I thought I better savor this and archive it ;]
