Hiya,
Check this out!

Pretty darn good, no? :)
Who is she anyway? hehehe…
time to google her…

Aite, LYRICS.

“I’ll Move On” by Olivia Ong

This road that I’m taking twists and turns
My life my chance turning dreams into reality.
Down this path faced with so many things
Sometimes I feel like giving up and turn away

Can’t seem to go on. And I’ve been thru’ this before.
Now where am I? Where do I stand? A little lost here.
But I’ll remember. All those times you’ve bought me thru’.
I’d be a fool to give up cos’ the goal is near

I’ll move on I’ll go on. Lord I will take your hand.
And you will guide me along. Survive thru’ this storm.
So I say, come what may. I’ll hold on to my hope.
Yes, I will walk down this road.
And my passion drive will lead me on

Here I am Once again caught in the rain.
Looking back I’ve come so far And I want to carry on
Take a step a little time It’s alright.
Even thru’ this rain, I want to smile again

Don’t hold back now. And i’ve been thru’ this before.
Now where am I? Where do I stand? A little lost here.
But I’ll remember. All those times you’ve bought me thru’.
I can feel the sun shining down on me

Here I am, Here I am. Lord I will take your hand.
And you will guide me along. Survive thru’ this storm.
So I say, come what may. I’ll hold on to my hope.
Yes, I will walk down this road.
And my passion drive will lead me on.

Lipstick Jungle ep 2

ay_link February 16th, 2008

OK, so here’s the scoop for the 2nd episode of LJ (Lipstick Jungle) this week.
First of, I found out that I watched the PREAIR version of episode 1 last week, and I didn’t even know it until today, when I watched episode 2 lol. My goodness, I was like, “What is that scene? when was that? I didn’t see it last week! Wait.. who’s that guy sleeping on Wendy’s bed? *gasp*….” Then followed more confusion as more characters appeared to be different than what I saw last week, in the PREAIR version of it. Ha. LOL turns out I watched the preair… the maybe, uncut (or edited or trial or whatever they call it), of Lipstick Jungle the premiere. Interesting~

So here I was, in awe of seeing different actors playing the character of Wendy’s husband, Nico’s husband Hector, and also Nico’s hottie scandal, Kirby. Those three men weren’t in the PREAIR one *lol*

Aite, onto the episode now.
Hm *spoiler warning*
I’m glad they decided to save Wendy’s marriage. Yay! Shane didn’t ask for a divorce! haha… what a twist from the PREAIR one. Then oh, thank God they keep Joe Bennett as the same actor! lol, Andrew-I-forgot-his-last-name. Him and Victory are my favorite couple, the sweetestest couple *aww*

In this episode, the plot thickens. Evilish characters start to show up and yeah, our three girls have started to ‘live their daily life’ as they struggle through work challenges and plus, Wendy, she has a fully written script to stop before it goes into publication to becoming a novel. Poor her. I feel sorry that the gal she hired to be a nanny years ago, can come and haunt her and cause all these troubles for her. Hmph. That editor lady (I refuse to know her name since she’s soooo bad), well, she is SUCH a BAD news.
Hopefully Wendy will be able to sue her @ss off and stop that publication. Or better yet, gain something out of it and be more famous! Muahahaha!

kk, onto the next gal, Nico. She’s sooo sexy and alluring in this episode. And if I’m not a girl, I’d definitely say she’s the prettiest out of all three. Even though I adore Lindsay Price and Brooke Shield, Kim Waters is definitely one hot blonde gal. She’s the perfect Nico.
Came into her office one morning is the man she probably thought she’d have never met again. Kirby, the hot boylover of hers. And of course, they gotta pretend not knowing each other, but she seems to have clouds over her moral mind so she volunteered to go to Kirby, and well… the guy knows exactly what she wants even when she’s trying so hard to cover it. But who can blame Nico when that hubby of hers is completely clueless? Gah. What a professor. Even Kirby asks her something like this, “Who is this guy? Your husband. How could he even let you out of his sight?”.
Exactly.

Victory is super adorable. She’s coping so much through her down-the-drain business when she pink-slipped her employees and started to work from home. Her assistant is no better either, that two-faced. Can’t believe she stole Victory’s sketches and claimed them to be her own creations. Tsk.
Joe is my man. Seriously. Can this guy be more charming than this?
First, he asked her to have lunch at some crab restaurant… in Miami! and when she turned him down saying that she got a lot of work to do, he asked for a dinner. And they had a walk after the dinner and he was so sweet listening to all her rants and all. *sigh* And at the end… omg, seriously this guy!! <3 hehehe he stops by her place around lunchtime, with two bags. One is lunch, which is the crab whatever (wait, was it crab? or some fish? hmm I better rewatch again after this lol), then in the other bag is what made me squeals. See, Victory wanted this hat…that supposedly she designed it long time ago and it’s very meaningful and precious to her. She thought the hat can bring her mojo back. So Joe apparently made a huge deal (meaning, paid a LOT to buy off the hat from the previous new owner, so that Victory can have the hat back). See? When a man uses his money to do something sweet like this, I’m all for him. He knows exactly what can make his girl happy, and that’s just so darn sweet. I adore him~

Hehehe… okay, now for a definitely awww moment…lemme present you… this cutiepie… *sigh~~*

Lipstick Jungle

ay_link February 10th, 2008

Premiered last thurday, Feb 7th, and I am HOOKED!
I knew it from the first moment I saw its banner on D-Addicts (you know, one of those google ads or whatnot), and I’ve been waiting for a new TV series to get hook-on (it’s been a while since my last, well, American TV series, lol)

First episode was so good. I love all three girls, which I have memorized their character’s names: Wendy, Nico and Victory.
Lipstick Jungle, is a story of three bestfriends, three powerful women who can actually make a difference because they’re women and they all have one thing in common: one heck of a talent, and friggin rich! I like the idea of this already. LOL.

Wendy Healy (played by Brooke Shields), is a successful top executive at Paragon Pictures. She’s married with 3 kids, one daughter and two boys. Her husband is a bum, who has no permanent job, and she’s literally supporting the family. And of course, when the wife is the bread winner in the family, the husband tends to be… bitter. lol. Anyways, at the end of episode 1, the husband asks for a divorce. Ha. Cliche.
But nonetheless, Brooke Shields knocked down the role perfectly. Wendy is my kind of gal already.

Wendy has two bestfriends, Nico and Victory.
Nico Rielly (played by Kim Raver) is also a successful career woman - editor-in-chief of the hot fashion magazine, “Bonfire”. She’s also married with no children. Her husband is a professor at a local university.
Victory Ford (played by Lindsay Price) is the talented fashion designer in her own name, “Victory Ford”, in which at her lastest fall collection, New York Times trashed her line. She relies on her two bestfriends as she tries to pick up the pieces and saves her career. At the same time, a prince charming comes along, asking for a date, which not requested by the prince himself, but his assistant. To her surprise, this man can sweep her off her feet and gives her comfort in times of need. Multi-billionaire, Joe Bennett (Andrew McCarthy) is another reason why I’m hooked on this series. Haha.

So, to those of you, go grab the torrent @ isohunt and watch this series! Tee-hee.
Episode 2 will be airing right on the V-day, February 14th @ 10PM PST.

Cut clip from Episode 1:
Joe Bennett sent a plane to Tokyo to pick up his princess :) SO sweet~

Watch the music clip here

My yesterdays are all boxed up and neatly put away
Every now and then you come to mind
‘Cause you were always waiting to be picked to play the game
But when your name was called, you found a place to hide
When you knew that I was always on your side

Well everything was easy then, so sweet and innocent
But my demons and my angels reappeared
Leavin’ only traces of the man you thought I’d be
Too afraid to hear the words I’d always feared
Leavin’ you with only questions all these years

But is there someplace far away, someplace where all is clear
Easy to start over with the ones you hold so dear
Or are you left to wonder, all alone, eternally
This isn’t how it’s really meant to be
No it isn’t how it’s really meant to be

Well they say that love is in the air, never is it clear,
Try to pull it close and make it stay
Butterflies are free to fly, and so they fly away
And I’m left to carry on and wonder why
Even through it all, I’m always on your side

But is there someplace far away, someplace where all is clear
Easy to start over with the ones you hold so dear
Or are you left to wonder, all alone, eternally
When this isn’t how it’s really meant to be
No it isn’t how it’s really meant to be

Well they say that love is in the air, never is it clear
How to pull it close and make it stay
Butterflies are free to fly, why do they fly away
Leavin’ me to carry on and wonder why
Was it you that kept me wandering through this life
When you know that I was always on your side

WALL-E & stuffs

Note to self:
Must…see…this..movie…in JUNE 27! ^___^
I love WALL-E! my gosh…that bra scene is… LOL!

Updates:

1. Golden Bride, the 64-episodes SBS Weekend Drama that I’ve been following since last August, has finally ended today (with flying colors. Yes happy ending rules! lol) - will post some clip from the finale when I get the chance. This is such a great GREAT series. You’re missing out if you haven’t watched it, and it’s never to late to start now. *wink*

2. Two new weekend dramas premiered this weekend too. 1)Park Jung Gum - MBC weekend drama starring the ever-talented ahjumma/unni, Bae Jong Ok (she plays as a detective/police who kicks butt! lol), and of course, my old flame/crush, the actor cum singer w/ hot voice, the Chul Soo of Hyena, yes, he’s KIM MIN JONG. So happy to see him back in TV screen again after Hyena (2006). 2)Angry Mom - the new KBS weekend drama starring Ryu Jin (he’s back! married and still hot as ever everyone.) and his co-star here is none other than Miss Bad Couple - Shin Eun Kyung. Pretty and slim and very executive-lady-like :) Hot, intense chemistry with Ryu Jin, and I’m totally looking forward to see more of them on screen. The rest of the cast I don’t really care about, so yeah, for now, Park Jung Gum is definitely win more points from me.

In Park Jung Gum episode 2, there’s this scene where Kim Min Jong’s character (haven’t memorized the names yet) goes to a night club/bar, and here it is, T-Pain feat Akon “Bartender” song is playing in the background. Very smart indeed, music director. I applaud you. Coz usually, when kdrama has scene like this, the song is always crappy, very groovy. But this one, I think this is the best scene out of episode 2. Ha.

Last by not least:
Addicted to POM tea and grape juice mix w/ UV Vodka Grape (plus midori & sprite) bwahaha.

A song preview

Captured from MBC Sunday Drama “Before and After Plastic Surgery” starring Lee Jin Wook, Kim Sung Min and the very cute girl, Seo Yi Hyun.

Still don’t know the title/singer of this song coz the OST is not out yet. But I just thought to cap this and save it for now… better than nothing, no? =)

Enjoy~
