Hyun Bin & Song Hye Kyo are making highlights all over the Korean news media today.
The reason being is that both of them have been casted in KBS2 upcoming drama, The world they live in.
The PD and Writer for this drama is PD Pyo Min Soo and Writer Noh Hee Kyung.
Both of them had some great and not-so-great dramas in their profile. Some of them that I’ve watched in the past also, which I liked and disliked, such as Full House, Which Star Are You From, and Insoon is Pretty for PD Pyo, while Writer Noh was the one behind the scripts for Goodbye Solo and 2-episode special drama Several Questions that Make Us Happy.
The drama will be aired in November in KBS2 as a Mon-Tue drama. And the storyline will be about the entertainment industry in Korea. Both of them will be playing as PDs at a broadcasting station. Sounds a bit like On Air mixed with Spotlight? Quite interesting to see a different image for both of them. Though I think Hyun Bin will definitely pull off the professional young executive type of role better, judging from his previous drama (no, not Snow Queen).
But kudos to the PD and Writer for choosing Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo from the very start. I heard the scripts were intended to be for them in the first place. So, since it’s now confirmed, I’m sure this news will bring both Hyun Bin and Hye Kyo’s fans together since they’ve been waiting for this collaboration to happen.
I guess, magic does come true? Hehe. Especially when these fans have been praying so hard and even signed a petition for this couple to work together. Wow, the things fans do for their idols!
