Alex performed two songs “If it was you” and “Flowerpot” on Mnet Madame B Salon, June 29 ‘2008 and it was the BEST two performances I’ve ever seen so far. Definitely the best “If it was you” perf. on Mnet show, especially after that last one on Mnet Countdown last week when he looked so tired and sounded a bit coarse on the high notes. But these two clips are enough to show me that his voice is back. 다행이다 =)

The order of performance went like this: he performed “If it was you” first, then the talk with Kim Yoon Ah — the part where she asked him what his oasis is, and he heard someone and asked, “Who? Shinae?” and Kim Yoon Ah laughed so hard. Then he answered if he has 10 oasis, Shinae is definitely one of them because she has brought so much joy in his life these past few weeks.

Shinae-Alex “I want to try fighting with Alex” vs. “It’s not an unrealistic event…”

Alex and Shinae’s talked about their ‘inner thoughts’ about marriage have attracted many attention.

On the 29th, MBC Sunday Night “We Got Married” segment, during their individual interviews Shinae mentioned how she wants to try fighting (quarrel) with Alex.
“I want to know how he’d respond to that…” And these remarks from Shinae raised attentions from her fans and WGM viewers as both Alex and her are known as the romantic couple who always seem to be polite, nice and kind to each other.

Shinae “I do wonder sometimes how it’d be to have a couple-quarrel with Alex.” As they’ve always been on their good side with each other, she had been thinking how it would be when they actually caught each other on a bad time or something to that nature.

While Shinae talked, Alex protested about his event.

Alex asked, “Is it really unrealistic?” before answering to people’s saying that his conducts in the past WGM events and people have been saying that it’s unrealistic. But he told the reporter, “From my standards, it’s not unreasonable…” meaning that what he did so far, he has his reasons for all that.

Alex said, “Did I spend millions for this event?”, then he continued on, “I just sang and cooked for her because she wanted it. When she asked me to sing, Like a child, I sang for her. Since she had been hurt in the past, I want to make the atmosphere between us a little better.” (To me, this is one of the reasons why Alex showers her with tons of sweet attentions, because we all know he seems to want her to believe in love again. But then again, it could’ve been that he just can’t help it *to shower her with love~ keke)

On the 100th day celebration, Shinae and Alex went to pick their wedding dress for the photoshoot session next Sunday. Alex even mentioned to the bridal consultant, “My wife has a beautiful neckline, so it’ll be better to choose a wedding gown that can compliment that.” (this is utterly so sweet! I love how he seems so proud while saying “my wife” hee hee… and from what I saw last Sunday, he certainly is smitten by her. “Seeing her in that dress, it has the same feeling when I first saw her in her 2002 CF.” My gosh, he still remembers how she looked 6 years ago?? Amazing~~ haha!)

The episode we’ve all been waiting for the past two weeks, has finally aired last night, but I can’t help not to notice how the PD tricked all of us WGM fans. Well, I thought we’d get the whole 100th day special last night (from picking the dress, the photoshooting, everything), but it didn’t happen last night.

We saw the 3 main couples, Andy-Solbi, Crown J-In Young & Alex-Shinae picked the dresses, but the actually photoshoot episode will be on next Sunday, July 6. And Alex-Shinae’s segment was too short. I guess they really need to tease us by putting Korea’s #1 romantic couple at the very last. Save the best for last, I must say keke.

But, oh boy, everyone looked so handsome and pretty last night. Especially Hwang Bo with her new hairstyle (no more ponytail, yay), and of course, Shinae looked absolutely radiant and gorgeous yesterday. She made tons of male fans jealous of Alex of course lol.

OMG, yet another article came in just I was watching WGM episode 15 hehe… and this one is a sweet one too. Can’t wait to see if I can get my hands on this Madame B Salon show. (SS501 was in it a few weeks ago, and they sung “In A Rush” by Blackstreet. So perhaps Alex performed his song too. I’ve never watched this show before, but I guess the format is pretty much similar to the Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter.)

Alex publicly showed his affection for Shinae

“Shinae is the joy of my life.”

On June 29 at 9:00pm, Alex is featured on Mnet Madame B Salon. MC Kim Yoon Ah (Jaurim) asked Alex what his oasis is, and he answered, “My first solo album.” However, Alex heard the audience mentioned the name “Shinae” (I’m not too sure about this one, but I guess the audience asked if Shinae is a part of Alex’ oasis hehe)

Embarassed alex said, “If there were 10 oasis, Shinae would be included in it, because for 2 weeks, she is someone who was responsible for all the joy in my life.” And because of this response, he received many cheers from the crowd.

As Alex has his own style of dating in “We get married’, through the romantic Alex, he said, “I’m always within the palm of the girl’s hand. I foolishly said that I’m the type that dates.”

As AlShin fans already knew, a few days ago (last Thursday around midnight), while Alex was having his “Blue Night” radio show, a request came in from a text message, and it was address to “Alsooni” (Shinae’s given nickname for Alex from that WGM picnic episode 8), from Shinae. And Alex was like, “Huh?” and I bet he was surprised when the other DJ, Mun Cheon Shik read the text message requesting a song by Na Yoon Kwong, “If it was me”

I tracked down the song, and it turns out that the song was featured in “Prince’s First Love” OST, sung by none other than Na Yoon Kwon. (His voice is amazing! How come I just found out about it now? lol well, better late than never~)

So, this is the song that Shinae requested it, in which DJ Al happily played it for her. And before he played the song, his voice was sooooo sweet~~
