Alex in Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter 300th episode

Recently, on the 13th (Friday the 13th), Alex performed his title song, “If it were you” (track 2 from “My Vintage Romance” album) in KBS2 Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter music show. And since this performance is pretty historical and as a beginning of his music activities to promote “My Vintage Romance” (and as a solo artist), I feel like I’ve got to blog about this. I mean, it’s ALEX for goodness sake. LOL. MY GOSH, the guy certainly can sing ANY tune whatsoever. *bow*

“Ebony & Ivory” (original artist: Paul McCartney) - killer performance…
Sung Shi Kyung started singing first, but then when Alex came in, it was like magic.
Alex’s voice blends so well, and I got goosebumps all over… my gosh, this guy’s voice <3
Sung Shi Kyung and Alex did this low-high notes to harmonize, and it was just PERFECTO~

“India” (originally sung by Eric Benet) - another killer performance… I love this one better than “Ebony & Ivory” just because Alex got to sing the first verse, haha… jk.
Yeah, as Sung Shi Kyung’s English is not bad, but it feels like it lacks something. After the guitarist started off by playing the song intro, Alex started to sing, “I got the biggest part of heaven in my life… and I can feel it everytime I see your eyes… you’re my world, you’re my life, India….” oh my~

“If it were you” (Alex - My Vintage Romance first single) - this is the very first live performance for My Vintage Romance. Alex seems a bit nervous at the beginning, but he nailed this song perfectly. At first I wasn’t really fond of this song, but now, especially after understanding the lyrics to this song (many thanks to soonjap), I’m in love with this one and more addicted to Alex than ever! LOL.
