Lee Byung Hun oppa is back in business

When I saw this picture on the news, it reminds me of how much I adore this man. So happy that he’s back in Korea now after 11 days in Prague to promote his movies and attended Cannes Festival.
I guess first crush never dies, huh? Hehehehehehe… =P
Lee Byung Hun (38) who was busy working with his movies such as “I come with the rain”, “The Good, The Bad and The Weird” and “G.I. Joe (Director Stephen Sommers), has finally finished all overseas activities. He’s currently taking a week of rest before begin promoting his next movie, “The Good, The Bad and The Weird” starring Jung Woo Sung and Choi Kang Ho.
Later, on late 2008, he’ll begin to work on this next project, which is “Iris”, a full-scale, high-budget TV drama, produced by the same writer that made Song Il Guk a household name in Jumong. “Iris” will appear early next year, as so far, the production hasn’t even started yet as Lee Byung Hun is still very busy with his movie promotion activities. “Iris” PDs are Kang Je-kyu 강제규 who brought us Taegukgi: The Brotherhood Of War and Shiri, and Lee Hyung-min 이형민 the PD behind I’m Sorry I Love You, SangDoo, Let’s Go To School. And the scriptwriter is Kang Je-kyu 강제규, Choi Wan-kyu 최완규, the man behind Jumong, All In, Sang Do, Heo Jun.
Lee Byung Hun Returns to TV Drama
Korean star Lee Byung-heon is returning to TV screen in a spy thriller titled “Iris.” Lee’s first TV drama in five years since his starring role in “All In,” “Iris” is Korea’s first attempt at a high-tech spy thriller filled with flashy action scenes, cool cutting-edge devices, and scenic overseas locations.
The 20 million-dollar action-packed drama is directed by Kang Je-gyu of “Taegukgi: Brotherhood of War” and Lee Hyung-min of “I’m Sorry, I Love You” and produced jointly by Taewon Entertainment, which had made the global project “Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon.”Filming will begin later this year and take place in Russia, Japan, China and the United States. The twenty-parter “Iris” is scheduled to be aired early next year.
Lee has just wrapped up filming the French-American movie “I Come with the Rain” with Josh Hartnett and is getting ready to shoot “G. I. Joe.” Lee will be playing Korean ninja Storm Shadow in the action flick. The multi-national collaboration co-starring British actress Sienna Miller and American actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt alongside Lee is due for release in August 2009.
