Alex’s bestfriend of 20 years reveals Alex’s loner days

This is the same romantic guy Alex who can grab a girl’s heart with his charming voice.
But indeed, it was revealed today that he used to be a loner during his childhood days.

Today, June 21, in the popular MBC variety show, “Introducing Celebrity’s Buddy”, Alex invited his barista buddy of 20 years, Hong Seong Hun to the show. Seong Hun brought an old picture of them together when they were maybe around 8-9 years old and said, “The childhood Alex looked very different from today’s Alex.” And along with Alex, today’s episode we have Sung Shi Kyung, Hwang Bo, Bae Seul Gi, and each of their buddies with them on the show.

The format of this reality show is something like this: the four of them (Alex, SSK, Hwang Bo and Bae Seul Gi) are sitting in the studio with the two MCs, Lee Hwi Jae and Hyun Young. But they can see from the big screen TV, how their friends are out there on the street, waiting for their call. Then when it’s Alex’s turn to call his friend, he asked Seong Hun to show stuffs while talking on the phone with him, like doing a few push-ups (yes, on the street, with people looking at him weirdly haha). Then they play some games like using feather to tickle the other team, but they can’t drop the book they put on their head. Alex obviously won the game with flying colors lol. He could stand still and not even feeling ticklish/bothered with the feather lol.

And then after they all are properly introduced, each of them got into their car and drove off to another place to play some more games. Seong Hun revealed a childhood story that since Alex was a loner kid, he used to play arcade games a lot. There were times when he could just pay 50 won but at the end he won 500 won instead. So the store owner told him to go home and returned his money back hehe…

The confession continues and Seong Hun mentioned how Alex used to be so short, maybe about 116 cm? which made Alex laughed his head off (see picture above). As the unstoppable confession continues, Seong Hun also mentioned that for some odd reasons, Alex liked to dig the ground, and one day he hit hit himself with a rock. And the scar is still there until now. LOL.

The show has a goal at the end, which is to coupled up their buddy to another star’s buddy. And if the feeling is mutual, they are being ‘crowned’ at the end with a pair of ring in which to be worn on their pinky. Cute~ In this case, Seong Hun and Bae Seul Gi’s cute friend, Bo Ram got crowned as a couple as they revealed their feelings for each other. How sweet~

A great program for a good laugh indeed. Alex looked very relax and laughed a lot. He even hugged Seong Hun a lot after they won a game or after Seong Hun ‘performed’ something embarrasing like to kiss a girl’s cheek for a few seconds *lol* His gestures speak volumes, like he really values their friendship (well, they’ve been friends for 20 years). I really enjoyed the program so far, though it has only been 3 or 4 episodes since its first started. Hope to see more familiar celebrities in the show next time.
