Alex’s perfs on Madame B Salon

Alex performed two songs “If it was you” and “Flowerpot” on Mnet Madame B Salon, June 29 ‘2008 and it was the BEST two performances I’ve ever seen so far. Definitely the best “If it was you” perf. on Mnet show, especially after that last one on Mnet Countdown last week when he looked so tired and sounded a bit coarse on the high notes. But these two clips are enough to show me that his voice is back. 다행이다 =)
The order of performance went like this: he performed “If it was you” first, then the talk with Kim Yoon Ah — the part where she asked him what his oasis is, and he heard someone and asked, “Who? Shinae?” and Kim Yoon Ah laughed so hard. Then he answered if he has 10 oasis, Shinae is definitely one of them because she has brought so much joy in his life these past few weeks.

I love the special arrangment on this one. Alex sang it in a slower beat than its original, and it worked. Love how he put his hand on his chest on some parts…
And I believe this is the first on-stage live performance that he did for this song.

What a great song, written by Alex himself. And he sounds just like his CD, which is a great one to buy btw. I bought mine and I luv it a lot. That photowall gift, oh my~ precious gift from Alex, tee hee..hee…
Around 2:54, you can definitely see how he hit that high note when the song goes on its climax. He did it just perfect. Didn’t use falsetto like he did in the last Mnet Countdown performance, and his voice sounds deeper than usual when he talks. Very sexy~ keke..
I’m glad he finally got his husky gentle voice is back~~

Watching and listening to Alex sing leaves me breathless…..there’s no doubt that he’s talented (yes, I also have his album). thanks so much for the clips!
