Alex “I like women who have pretty smiles…”

Yesterday, June 27, on MBC “Entertainment Section TV” program, questioned Alex on his ideal view of women’s physical appearances, he confessed, “A woman with pretty smile is good thing.” he confessed it with a bright smile.

Alex, who is currently on Korea’s most popular TV variety show, “We Got Married” of “Sunday Night” segment, has shown his sweet and romantic appearances to viewers. Alex’s direct attentiveness to Shinae, such as making dishes and doing sweet things for her on TV have promoted tons of attention from his female fans, although the male viewers are feeling a bit threaten by his actions. And as is shown in the program, Alex’s physical built and shape also attracted many viewers. But he said, “That’s 100% me.”

And unlike inside the program (We Got Married), Alex doesn’t eat salmon salad with steak for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And it has been revealed that when Alex is stressed out, or has some problems, he likes to go to the pork feet restaurant he always goes to and drink soju.

In the meantime, Alex is currently the DJ of MBC night radio show, “Blue Night”, replacing Sung Shi Kyung who is entering the military in July.

Alex’s trademark in the show is always saying “Goodnight everyone. I’ll hug you again tomorrow…” and “Have a Blue Night…” as he tells his audience with his gentle voice.

La Dolce Vita Episode 16

I really like this screencap. It’s so…. beautifully designed. The camera angle, the position of both Hye Jin and Joon Soo, the purple mat underneath them, their white clothes… everything.  This drama, not only it has great acting and script, it has such a great directing also.  Too bad some people might not find this is as interesting as I am, which is okay I guess. lol.

Alex on Star Golden Bell

Seriously, there are TONS of articles and news about him these past few days. How could he juggle all these activities? Wow. This month alone he’s featured in a lot of variety shows like Come To Play, Introducing Celebrity’s Buddy, and now Star Golden Bell? And he has WGM filming to do, Blue Night radio show, Mnet Countdown hosting, promoting his album, preparing for his 1st concert in September… tsk tsk… amazing.

There are a few articles going around today announcing the start of his music activities for “My Vintage Romance”, just as I was about to wonder when he’ll make appearance in MBC/KBS/SBS music shows like Music Core, Inkigayo and Music Bank. Though I’m a bit worried of his health somehow, after watching a few of his performance clips on Mnet. His voice sounds a bit sore when he sang “If it were you” on last Thursday’s Mnet Countdown show. He couldn’t hit the high notes properly =(

Now unto the news about him starring on KBS2 tomorrow show of Star Golden Bell. I’m not familiar with this show, so it’ll be interesting to find out tomorrow. Horan will be with him on the show, this sounds so exciting, teehee.

La Dolce Vita Episode 15

Finally, after 14 episodes, the two women got the chance to meet up face-to-face, but amazingly, this is not your regular ‘face-off’ scene. When usually the wife blames the mistress for all she did, seducing her husband, this time, the mistress is blaming the wife for snatching the man she loves. Ironic? Ridiculous? I can’t seem to find the perfect word for Da Ae while watching this scene, besides trying to keep on praising the writer! Bravo!

About Shinae…

Alex “Shinae? We do feel kind of good about each other…”

“Good feelings, but not to confuse with reality.”

MBC popular show, “We Got Married” has drawn a lot of eyes about this two, Alex and Shinae. Though they both are artificial married couple, both of them appeared friendly and sweet to each other on screen perhaps because he has good feelings toward her?

Alex and Shinae left ‘We got married’ but came back in 2 months and met again. When they weren’t meeting, they said that they thought about the other once in a while. Alex said that his initial intentions were good. He did all those sweet memories for Shinae so that she can try to open her heart more. (to those who don’t know, Shinae admitted that she’s been hurt because and it makes her scared of love, and being more cautious about it now)

Alex said, “We used to meet every week (for the filming of We Got Married), and had a pretty close relationship, so when we suddenly stopped meeting each other, wouldn’t you be thinking about that person?” he said. But he doesn’t wish to confuse reality with the situation of the program. He still doesn’t have Shinae’s phone number, as he mentioned during the “Come To Play” special. And Alex himself, has quite a bit of male antifans, especially when he did all those sweet things on screen, those antifans thought Alex made them look bad. (hahaha silly antis)

Alex’s ideal girl is “someone who has a nice smell.” He likes a girl who looks good in white T-shirt and jeans and have long shiny hair. Those kinds of girls can pull of sexy and pure at the same time, but those kinds of girls are hard to find.” (*Hm? doesn’t this sound a bit familiar? lol hint hint~ Alsooni fighting! keke*)

I think this article is pretty interesting because it seems like Alex is being cautious about what he says about Shinae from now on. He knows exactly what the media and fans want, but at the same time he doesn’t want to hurt Shinae in any way. As they both are my favorite couple in the show, after the reunion, it’s like they’re back at one, like Alex said. They may have more obstacles heading towards them, but it’s interesting. Of course I’d root for them to hook up already, but watching the process of how two people, who suddenly being ‘coupled-up’ for a show, can act freely based on their own feelings is pretty intriguing. Though this show is semi-scripted, they are free to expose themselves up to that chance of falling for the other person. The process of falling in love, being cautious not to get hurt, and to learn to understand the other person’s feeling, it is truly a magical feeling.
