Seo In Young’s awesome performance

I gotta admit, if Seo In Young wasn’t on “We Got Married” show opposite of Crown J, I would never watch her performance nor even pay attention to her songs. It’s true that once you get to know the person, you observe their behaviors and habits, you become more fond of them. Just like what I feel about Seo In Young personally. When I first saw her on WGM, it was nothing special. It was kinda like, “Oh, so her name is Seo In Young…” “She’s from Jewelry? What is Jewelry? o_O?” “Oh she’s kinda spoiled and princess-like.” But after a while, after watching her with Crown J, and how she acts around people, it’s just down to me that she can be such a cool person despite of her ’smexy’ and naughty image (especially when she’s performing on stage)
One thing that I like about her and Crown J is that they don’t really care about what people had in their minds about them, and just totally cool being themselves. And maybe that’s why her chemistry with Crown J is so comfortable to see and even Lee Sora said it herself, they should really date for real. Yes, maybe they should really think this over. Their compatibility is really high.
Now, why the heck did I start talking about Seo In Young?
It’s because she surprised me a lot through her performance last Friday night on Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter music show on KBS2. Let’s take a look…
As we know, she always carries the sexy, playful, flirty, naughty image with all her upbeat songs. So I wasn’t really sure when this song started to roll with such a slow ballad tempo. In Young singing ballad?! What were they thinking!? kinda first-reaction from me. And how I’m so glad she proved me wrong.

WOW.
Dang, girl! LOL. She really does amaze me with this song, no matter how many times I repeat this clip. Her voice, the vocal, the volume, the vibration, the technique, everything. I love all of it. Even down to her wardrobe, make-up and hairstyle. Cute, but not overly done. Sweet, but still projecting who she really is. I bet she was nervous also because singing on stage, in front of those people can be nerve-wrecking to some people, even to singers.
When I first watched this, I kept my expectation level really low, and I like how she proved me wrong. Who would’ve thought she’d pick to sing such a slow song when she usually does her thing with upbeat songs and catchy/sexy dance routines on her high heels, super-mini shorts and some sorts? Go, Seo In Young! I bet Crown J is really proud of his dear wifey too :D ‘coz when a singer performs her/his best on stage, that scores a lot of points from me personally because they truly live up to what they do best. Singing. Not acting, but truly being a singer on stage when they’re expected to do best at.

It looks like shes about to tear up in the end of the performance. I have to agree with you on this one. I never really paid much attention to SIY until WGM and my perception of her as slowly been changing the more I see her.
One thing for sure though is that she’s DEFINITELY meant to be a singer. Shes got the skills.
I’ve changed my perspective to SIY. Before watching WGM… I underestimated her, I thought she was just “candy” type girl and she proved me wrong…

Didn’t she said she wants to ditch the sexy image and wants to be considered as a serious singer? What a way to test the waters……I think she was pleased with her performance and that’s what counts. Even the audience was stunned. They could only clap.
I love InYoung in WGM and also enjoy her catchy songs… but I must admit that I never expected her to perform a ballad so beautifully. Her voice sounds amazing!
