The yummiest picture on the entire ELLE article

What a lengthy article, indeed. And through the help of a very kind friend of mine, I think I follow her advice and just try to point out the most interesting part from each paragraph.

The first paragraph mentions how Alex asked for the interviewer not to talk about his image on “We Got Married”. But the article mentions about how “We Got Married” became a hit since there wasn’t many interesting game shows before this show came out. So it caught everyone’s interest and made it such a huge impact on Korean variety TV shows from then on. It also affects Alex who is known as the one who did ‘events’ (romantic events) that some people may have called it “So K-drama like” or what people usually see in the (romantic) movies. Alex says it did bother him how people misinterpret him when they see him on screen. How the 17-hours filming for a 10-min broadcasting slot did take a stroll on him also. That is why he has asked the writer of this article to not talk about his image in “We Got Married” right from the start of his interview.

(It saddens me somehow that he still seems to get hurt from others’ perceptions of him and his so-called image on “We Got Married”. I guess those negative comments were too much to handle, even when he wanted to keep being positive about it. Sigh. Poor dear. Alex, babe, don’t worry, we still love you no matter what. People will always have their own stereotypes about things, and I’m just glad you’ve been keeping it real for all this time, no matter what they said or still go on saying.)

The second paragraph talks about the Alex now and a year before. He also talks about how he has become more neater, cleaner and more thoughtful through the past year. About Clazziquai’s music activities and also how he prepared for his solo album, how he lost his weight and been keeping it off since then.

(And he looks great, though I’d be worried if he still loses more weights nowadays, looking at his busy schedule. But this guy is seriously such a neat-freak! LOL. You have seen his crib, right? So neat and collected, and his room is probably cleaner than mine :P )

The next paragraph he talks about when he turned 20, he and a bunch of his friends dyed their hair and cut it real short with a razor. (lol, boys.) And he also says that he didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy his youth (like going on vacation with his friends or studying in a library all night, as his ex-gf brought him lunch. He loves to watch movies as it comes out, and get the newest cameras. He’s an ‘adopter’, meaning that he loves to buy stuffs on impulse. Loves to shop for new things on TV - the home shopping network - (I still remember him saying how when he couldn’t sleep at night, he flips through the channels, he ended up buying stuffs on the home shopping TV network)

And then, here comes the evidence of him being a neat-freak guy. LOL.

He goes on explaining how there are 3 types of cleaners you need to get: a practical vacuum cleaner, something that is pretty and portable that you can use it anytime, anywhere, and also a steam cleaner - the one that can make him feel better again when he’s tired (whaaa’? haha… my goodness. So apparently, cleaning is a way of life for him. It makes him happy and refreshed kekeke), and lastly, the dust sweeper. :D

Next one talks about his type of women and how he sees them. Since (he says) he has a lot of heat in his body, he tends to put some perfume or whatever fragrance guys usually use to quickly shoo the heat away. (Cologne? lol) And so he wants someone that doesn’t have a lot of heat in their body (keke guess he’s just too hot, he needs someone to ‘cool’ him down *cough*Shinae*cough*)

Then he talks about how people need one another to live on, like how a man needs a woman to complete him, and vice versa. (Hmmm, here comes the romantic side of him…)

And apparently, he admits that he’s a stubborn guy, so he needs someone who can understand him. (I read this a lot about guys in general, so Alex saying this doesn’t surprise me at all :D)

So that’s basically what the whole article is about, of course in more detailed and thorough, but hopefully you’ll get to know more about Alex with this ELLE interview. Lastly, he listed the top 5 Must-Have and his personal recommendation for books, music and camera.

Alex mentions this two: “Never, Never Gonna Give You Up”, “You Turned My Whole World Around”, and you’ll nod to yourself silently, “No wonder… his music taste is so… delectable.”

4. Cuba travel book
A place Alex wants to travel to. And apparently it’s the same as Hyun Soo (Kim Ji Hoon’s character) on the new KBS2 primetime drama, “Love and Marriage” What a coincidence! lol.

5. Kkeulrim (Attraction?)
Alex says this is a great travel book as the author told his personal experience and also some pictures from the traveling.

“Such a great camera to have. She’s a graphic designer!
The design is also very pretty and it can takes colorful photos.”

Using the concept of trying to serve DSLR digital camera he had bought. Many sisters and best use is important, so watch it, you can easily take a small, easy portability gwiyeowoseo loved it.

4. Toy camera sampler
A fun camera is great to have, though it is a toy camera, it’s still a camera. (lol?)

5. Canon G9
“Very nice for taking snapshots.” A great alternative to the smart Canon 5D.
