The day of the concert

After watching last night’s episode of “We Got Married”, I can’t help feeling a bit sappy :(
I know that it is a great episode for us AlShinners, but since the PD wanted to make it as the ‘last event’ before the grand finale, I don’t know if I’m supposed to be happy or sad at this point.
AlShin’s part starts with Alex in his van on the way to the venue, while Shinae is home alone hugging the teddy bear (You guys see it right? the bear she’s holding is the boy one, which supposedly represents Alex, kyaaaa~~ cute). Both of them have read the red ‘mission’ envelope. I can’t help myself feeling so =| when I first saw this. “So this is how they’re gonna ‘break’ the news to us? As a mission? This is super lame!!!” my inner thoughts seem to be saying this over and over. But I had to bear it because it seems like this is a great episode (from all the comments and screencaps).
But, I dunno. It’s supposed to be a happy event. Shinae attending his first solo concert, and the whole baking event, decorating the cake by herself (and her friends), everything seems so sweet and thoughtful and I’m supposed to be happy that Shinae is now so different than she was before. She seems secure and happy and confident whenever she’s with Alex. But I guess it is still hard to believe that next week is the grand ending. After all the happy thoughts, the events with the babies, and now we have to prepare to part with them next week. “How would Sunday ever be the same again ever?” I thought.
Sorry for such a gloomy post, but I guess watching last night’s episode is just a rude awakening for me. They really will go on their “separate ways”, WGM-wise, and even when I searched for MBC We Got Married in Yahoo! Korea, all the original couples’ pictures have been replaced with the 3 new ones. Aigoo~ :(
O well. As life will go on, I surely hope Alex and Shinae’s love will keep on going though I cannot ’see’ them again every Sunday. Though it’s kinda ‘weird’ to be feeling like this for two celebrities I’ve never seen before but grew so fond of them both, I’m thankful to be able to watch them, to learn how they both deal with each other as a ‘married’ couple, how insecurity and hurt will all be healed by the power of love, and finally to watch how a relationship can work if it’s based on love…

Alex and Shinae both have brought such indescribable joy in my life, that I can’t even begin to explain to those who’ve never gave WGM a chance. One more week to go. October 5 will be such a history as they wrap up all the four couples’ “destiny.” Mark your calendar, and in the mean time, I think I’ll need to have some Kleenex for next week, whether it’ll be tears of joy or tears of sadness. Sigh.

Shenny, dear, I think all of us AlShinners will be right there with you, our own kleenex boxes in hand next week, holding our breaths, wishing that it is only the AnSol couple leaving the show for now. It has come so fast, completely shocking to us that we might not see them again after this. Like you stated, Shin Ae has just started returning all the love she’s gotten from Alex by doing her own things for him and now it may be goodbye and the end of it. I can’t even seem to talk about this as my eyes fill with tears just doing so.
We’ve gotten to know them, watch their relationship grow in these last 10 months or so and spend our sundays with them - how will we cope without them? I’m depressed enough as it is.
I like the new couples, but I’m hanging on, claws jabbed in, death-grip hold on, limbs twisted around the current couples and wishing that this isn’t the end just yet.
Omg! am I the first person to read this? Shenny, I can’t find the words to express my gratitude to you for your summary of last night episode and all the postings you have put up on Alex and ShinAe. Its seem that we have been too involve with this show that they became part of us. Glad to see them getting so close again but sad to see them part again one more time. In real life I just hope that they will continue to cherish each other and have a bright future. Live have to continue moving, so I would be looking forward to see them together On air but out of WGM. It will be the end of WGM for me, after the original couple leave, I have no mood to continue watching it anymore because I don’t want to feel sore again.
Hello dear. Just came from the thread and there were reports of fan accounts from the Sept 23 taping that ONLY AnBi had decided to quit. Now we should all take this report with a grain of salt . . . But after the speculations and readying ourselves with their “possible” departure, it kinda feels anticlimactic, no?
Nevertheless, since we’re treated with so much AlShin love and I suspect even more next episode, I’m just completely happy with the prospect of still getting to see them in the near future.
Is it really the end of WGM for AlShin???
I’m in a denial state. Just want to hang on to the happy memories of Alex and ShinAe. They’ll be together forever! Fighting!!

Maybe they’re not leaving WGM just yet. Some WGM fans who attended the studio recording for Episodes 27 and 28 said that only AnBi are leaving. The other three couples are staying…at least, that’s what somebody at the main WGM thread has posted. Let’s just keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best. ):
I’m more worried about Alex’s back problem. To think it’s so bad that it has even caused his left foot(leg?) to be numb. Now that’s bad, isn’t it? Gggaaahhh!!!

I agree with dihei. I think they are not leaving yet. According the fan account posting , and Al-Shin fanclub over Cyworld called “예그리나” they also attended the studio fliming on 23Sep for 200th day of Alshin. They didnt say directly that Alshin was not leaving but they just said it was precious moment for all Alshinners. I guess they are not parting YET. But WGM PD can do rollercoaster to our feeling .Anyway!! I am not sad yet until I finally watch it.
Even they part the show I am quite satisfied because I know something is there!! Once I found he put her photo on the piano OMG !! I am so sure there’s something there….
As of now ,we dont know yet. SO should we just be happy and appreciate Alshin moment altogether,shouldnt we ? ^ㅂ^
Thank you so much for your summary. But after reading it I am totally numbed. The thought of AlShin off WGM breaks my heart. It definitely will not be the same again. But since it is not confirmed yet, lets just hope that this does not become reality. AlShin FOREVER!!!

u know wht, while watching episode 27 my heart was beating so fast. My emotions mix together. I dunno whether its sad, happy, or what. I’m happy for the alshin’s sweet moment, but also sad everytime there were “farewell” captions or sayings… It’s supposed to be happy episodes, but really…PD Kang is someone who knows about sad-editing…aishhh…
even there’s fan account saying that only anbi leave the show… i’m not secure yet ’til watch it by myself on october 5…

i dont think Alex will leave this show, cause last time he did and both of them really sad , it took long time for them to feel comfortable to each other again, so i think he wont miss any change to close to ShinAe
I fell the same way too even though i dont know them in reality i am really fond of them. i think it be really weird to not see the orginal couple on wgm. why are they planning to leave???? if they all leave wgm then they all should get a new show with the four orginal couple. kekeke

Mmm… I read on another website that covers We Got Married (Hwangbo & Hyun Joong respectively) too, and they said that only Andy and Solbi are leaving the show, but the rest are staying. And they’re adding on Hwan Hee-Hwayobi & Marco-Son Dam Bi couples. But Alex and Shinae are STAYING. :D (Doing a happy dance inside).
