With the recent talk about some of the WGM couples’ departure, it was actually quite depressing to think about what would happen to Alex and Shinae, especially. WIth too many presumptions, I have tried to stir away from them, especially the news and media. Like any other show on TV, “We Got Married” can’t last forever and ever. (Though the good thing about watching a prime-time drama is that we’re prepared a head of time as to how many episodes the drama will be. But with the case of WGM, from all I know, they can pull the plug anytime they want, and we could just be left out with a O_O expression like when Alex took his break to prepare for his album, or when we first read about Andy and Solbi’s departure from the show a few weeks ago. )
But then again, life goes on.
Instead of being depressed and sad about it, here’s another perspective that I think it would help ease the pain a little bit better. The sooner Alex and Shinae are off the show, they can move on with their lives, and probably start thinking seriously about giving themselves a real chance. And I would love it more than anything to read a happy news down the road, like what happened in the past when Lee Seo Jin and Kim Jung Eun announced it that they’re in a relationship.
So, in AlShin’s case, I’m still very much rooting for them to take it up to the next (real) step together if they are indeed fated to be with each other :) But I just can’t help being giddy and happy when this news about World Vision came to surface. What a great start for this beloved couple, Shinae and Alex. And to be doing a cool, commendable mission together outside of “We Got Married”, this feels like Christmas already. :D

If you haven’t seen this, it’s a good clip to add to your library :)
Otherwise, it’s always nice to see him being interviewed, then speaking in English (though not entirely). Though it’s not something we haven’t heard or read before, Alex did point out something interesting. He said, “Music is my life. I fall in and out of love because of music. But one thing I don’t want music to be is to feel like a vice or a textbook.” At first I didn’t quite get what he meant by ‘textbook’, but I think it’s because he is a musician, and he is also a songwriter, though at certain angle, he needs to have a special knowledge of music, but since it has become a part of his life, he still wants it to be a fun thing to play around with.
And speaking of music, the weekend is just around the corner, meaning that his Busan concert is this weekend! Woohoo! Break a leg, Algoon! Can’t wait to ‘hear’ all about it from all his cool fans from Busan.
They say the 3rd one is the charm, so then, what’s next?
After a year and 3 months, Shinhwa’s talented artist/composer/songwriter Lee Minwoo (or now simply known as M) came back with his newest 4th album, which he himself is known to have fully produced this album himself. As he has composed many, many songs for other artists, it’s only right that he produced this 4th album “M RIZING” hosted by his own record label.
The album title track (#2) is called “Don’t trust men” featuring Big Tone
Just finished watching last night’s episode of We Got Married, which is the continuation of the “taking care of babies” episode two weeks ago. Yeah, the one with the babies, I mean quadruplets. :)
Thoughts about this episode: short, but yet very heartwarming and super sweet. Alex and Shinae, you both totally inspire me to look ahead. I can definitely see you both “make it” with each other ;) And at the end, what really caught my attention was the song they chose to ‘end’ the episode last night.
The song is called “Make it with you” originally sung by David Gates and his band, Bread. Did a little fast research around Google, and found this from Wikipedia. An oldie song, but yet the lyrics are so appropriate for Alex and Shinae in this episode <3 Bravo, MD! David Gates wrote this for his band, Bread, in June 1970, and 38 years later, I found out about this song because of Alex and Shinae. lol. How magical~
Seriously, I need to know who the Music Director for this program is, because he/she definitely knows the real game, and totally ROCKS more than the PD :P (If you don’t remember the song, try playing it again at that last scene of AlShin… the song starts around 43:55, right after the parents took the babies home… Shinae sitting on the sofa, looking at the polaroid pics, and Alex laying down on the mat, and he keeps making a sound like 아…아… ㅋㅋㅋ kyooooot!)
ㅋㅋㅋ I guess the title above is a freebie? You can guess whose back this is right?
Right.
He’s backkkkkkkkkkkk!!!
And it feels SOOOO good to listen to his voice again.
AND… he sang 기다리게해서 미안해요 ! LIVE!!! AAAAAH!!
hahaha… Alex really knows how to make people giddy :P
My gosh, so cute. “Hello! Heh-heh-heh-heh-heh… have you been well? I miss you! It’s me Algoon… hehehe… Oh how I miss you all!”
Seriously? So kyooooooooot!
He sounds so happy to be back also. I can ’see’ it from his voice hehe…
And that lil ‘awww’ of his… hee hee.
Well, he’s back, everyone! :) and sounds like happier than ever~!
