Last night on WGM… the episode I’m most afraid of to watch.
Now a few hours later, since the moment has passed, I can say, I regret not watching it live lol. But if I did, I’d go crazy with all the emotions, happiness, tears and joy, but heck I won’t be able to sleep after watching that kind of episode. LOL.
Thank you everyone for the posts in AlShin’s thread, I feel like it’s too late for me to post anything since I missed the episode HAHAHA. Thank you! Your posts are the first thing I read when I go on the computer on Sundays. =)
I hit the last episode first and read, “AlShin are staying”, and now I can’t stop grinning and smiling like krazy. OK, I jumped the whole episode to see the ending first, haha. (What a big spoiler, I am.)
Alex: “Shinae-ya, let’s go home~!!”
LOVELY! lol. very intimate and personal. They’re SO ready to take it to the next level~~~
ALSHIN ARE STAYING! THEY’RE STAYING, THEY ARE, OH YES THEY ARE! lol… now if you excuse me while I scream one more time. AJSKDFSJSADKFSDJFKSFSKAFJDSFSKJKSD THANK YOU GOD!

There’s definitely a sign of RELIEF after Alex said the 3-letter-words, and you can definitely see Shinae sighing to herself in total reliefness LOL. And vice-versa too. Alex looks like he has tears welled-up in his eyes, though it’s well-covered by his emo-glasses keke. Totally love his dorkgeekylookHOTness. :)
He even bit his lip a bit before stating his decision (whether to stay or not) hee hee… and Shinae was like o_O? waiting for his answer (the camera should’ve stayed on a few secs longer *complaint* lol but o well, he said it, she heard it, that’s all it matters now. LOL)
And Shinae shared the same level of giddyness as me when she was by herself in the interview room.
Shinae: “Teeheehee… I’m so embarrased… I love you.”
Alex has a little smile, though keeping his eyes fixed on the screen, staring at her.
AND he’s even staring at her while they have her up on the screen. AJFSKSDFJSFHSDFSKLSDF! lol this is just too good to be true, but it’s SO true! lol.
OH MY. And this next cap, it’s a total love. My favorite in-the-spur-of-the-moment kind of capture.
He stares at her possibly the audience, or away from the camera… who knows lol, but I can see him sighing quietly right after he hears Shinae’s saranghamnida… :) which I thought the camera should’ve stayed on Shinae a bit longer, or capture both of their expressions (err.. but that would be invading their privacy isn’t it? haha!)
Yay~~ it’s official… they love each other, and they declare it on national television! LOL. Oh how I really really wish this is all true feelings they’ve shown so far. :) *crossed fingers and pray to God*
And, don’t you think Shinae is just too beautiful at the studio? I love what she’s wearing, and that hat fits so right in. Really two gorgeous couple beyond comparison! Bravo to the make-up artist that matched them up so well in blue, and metro-look ;)
Shinae is all smiling and relieved when Alex said, “I love you” :)

Alex and Shinae are staying. AnBi are leaving (this is so sad. WGM won’t be the same without them), and Marco and Son Dam Bi are coming on board next week? COOL!
And according to the news I read (not that many yet, since it’s sleeping time for the paparazzi in Korea, lol.), but it seems like they don’t care about being all mushy toward each other, huh? ㅋㅋㅋ Ah love~~ What a wonderful world for the two of them! Congrats Alex & Shinae! <3
Hm, I guess looking back again, it is “necessary” to call up all those HYPE about them leaving, because they need the media coverage to hype up people’s “excitement” (in which I like to call them, EMOTIONS, and feelings >_> heh. Great job, PD-nim. Not.)
And now it all makes sense. The level of comfort they’ve shown during Chuseok special, the baking thing, the lil concert Alex did just for her alone. (ZOMGOODNESSGRACIOUSINEEDTOSEETHATPRONTO.)

YES! overjoyed after watching that episode.
I confused why isnt alshin in the ep 29 preview? i saw joongbo, crown j seo in young, marco son dam bi and hwanhee and hwayobi going on vacation but no alshin :(
was the preview cut off for them?

how I wish he was staring at her…but wasn’t he sitting on the left…and she his right? which would mean he looked away from her and the screen afraid and anxious of her answer…so nervous…
he looked sure of her answer at first but before she gave her answer in the backroom they cut that off and she stalled by flipping her hair…lol… that made Alex a wreck…so much so that he looked away.

thanks for posting this…after all the emotions and the somber mood that has been going on this past few weeks…I am so happy and relieved to actually read something good and more lively today. I am cheering and smiling and giddy right now and my co-workers are asking me why I am so cheerful than my usual self. I told them that I am happy since my favorite couple on WGM is staying….AlShin Forever. :)

but…about the caps tht u said alex stared @ her after she said “saranghamnida”… I dont think he’s staring at her, coz Shin Ae sat in alex’s right side and alex was looking to his left side. Probably he stared to audiences, who screaming like crazy, when they both agreed to stay ??
But please correct me, if I make mistake ^^

@hye rim yeah, I don’t know why AlShin aren’t in the preview for next week. Maybe ‘coz they filmed it when Alex was in his leave of absence? Dunno.
It could be that, or it could be that they don’t have time to put them in the preview, and will probably surprise us next week. I won’t be surprised if they won’t be on next week though… that’s okay, as long as we already know they’re staying, we’ll see them in the next two weeks if not next week. :)

both of you are right, I got too excited when I took the caps haha. Alex is looking away from her, maybe to the audience, or maybe to avoid the camera, to cover up his already-worried face. :)
But we can see him sighing quietly in relief. AHHH~~ hee hee…that’s okay, so he didn’t dare to stare at her lovingly… coz that would be too ‘much to give away’ if you know what I’m sayin’. Kekekeke…

I was super happy when they decided to stay! and then i watched on youtube and it showed how shinae and alex were holding hands! so cute! you can see it in the first segment on :37 ^^

I think this is the time for us to go forward more. It’s always sweet and romantic. Of course,
Sinae want to know Alex better and vice versa. But … maybe it’s awkward for them.
If Alex and Sinae wasn’t in the preview is because he has to rest a little. You

I had a lovely time watching WGM ep 28. I kept replaying on Alshin parts even though I don’t understand the language but their body language and actions tells me that they’re staying and definitely carry on being husband and wife. Love it when both of them said, “saranghaminda”. Can’t stop smiling. It was really a great day for me.

I am looking forward to the headline one day, of their marriage announcement in real. Hoping Alex and ShinAe wouldn’t keep us waiting and make my neck grow long enough like a giraffe. It was the whole tiring week for me but I managed to watch this eppie live… Its so touching and at the last part they were making decision. I was so tense . I am kind of sure that Alex would say Saranghumnida. Then Shinae turn, She was so shy to say the word and then pause I felt that Alex seemed afraid if the answer was “Im sorry” so he looked away, worried because before he answered he said he didnt know Shinae’s feeling/answer if she wanted to stay…Finally She said it YAH!!!! SO SUPER HAPPY Kya~~~ I know I can be fangirl screaming here^^
Next week I heard they filmed another mission from other 4 couples because he had the event with rice cooker you posted (29Sep) so lets wait and see!!

Alex and Shinae were just so romantic with the “special concert” after the main concert. Also, alex posting Shinae’s photo on the piano in fron t of him during the actual concert was very sweet of him (swoons!). Hope that Shinae will be able to recover from her recent tragic loss, adn get back with Alex, whether onscreen or offscreen, am sure he woudl be a good source of emotional strength for her…plus he has th ebaility to make her smile/laugh with his “cheesiness” as we have seen in past episodes! And he really does seem to care for her a lot!

I was a wreck too until I found out that Alshin was staying (did I mention they’re my favourite couple!!). I even watched WGM without subs just to know if they would go on. Aigooo! (one of the few korean expression I know only with saranghamnida he he he) I am so happy! happy happppyyyyy! ha ha ha ha The thought that WGM would also remove AlShin I just thought that would be killing the show off……
By the way I seem to have seen a preview of episode 29 with Alshin in it, oh well we’ll find out soon enough.
I agree with you sammie-s Alex’s special concert (swoons too!). one word WOW!
They go so well together.There are so sweet to each other, I almost cried when they left after episode 8 and I honestly thought about giving the show until I randomly decided to check out episode 16 and saw them in it. YAY I was over the moon. lol
I’m very sorry about CJS… I’d understand if Shinae and Alex wouldn’t be featured in episode coming up….
p.s. alshin is my guilty pleasure: It’s like watching a lovely real kdrama with none of the leukemia-killed-girlfriend, loved-each-other-but-had-to-leave, or the i-fell-in-love-with-second-lead-for-20-episodes or well you get my point.

i cried tons of buckets of tears during AnBi departure!!! i’m an extreme AnBiHolic and watching their good-byes were the most heart-breaking, torturing thing i have ever forced myself to watch… WGM is no longer the same without them… it feels empty to me now….
but at least the other couples will still be on… JoongBo couple and AlShin are the new ones i will look forward to… AlShin have progressed a lot compared to the first few episodes….

I agree with you guys. But wait, does Alex and Shin Ae read our comments here so that at least they will be encouraged? I’m so haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppy to see them again. I also cried when I watched them the episode 8 where Alex sang the “Flowerpot” and said goodbye. I think Alex is really sincere in his feelings toward Shin Ae. I didn’t watch the next episodes after that and tried to look for the episode where they returned. I admire Alex for reviving the flower pot when he returned and had their wedding photo taken with the flower pot. Shin Ae watered the plant during the time they were separated, although not as good as Alex had done. But at least she did what she promised. I loved this couple because they are really making memories both for themselves and for the viewers watching them. AlShin couple gives us so many symbols of a true loving relationship such as the promises on the padlock, throwing the keys so that the padlocks will not be unlocked, taking care of the flower pot, and clearing the weeds, tilling the ground, planting the seeds, and watering what the had planted with the hope that the seeds they planted will grow just like the flower pot. Mind you they had influenced the other couples. AnBi couple went to where the padlocks are during their farewell. HwangJoo of the lettuce couple had become better after spenting time with the AlShin couple at the beach. I hope I’m right. although Shin Ae had slowly regained trust during the event on the beach. I loooooooook forward to their next episodes together.

My Korean housemate introduced me to WGM specifically the AlShin couple and now I’m completely hooked!
I worked myself to a complete frenzy when I found out about the “farewell” event and my heart was pounding mercilessly awaiting for their verdicts. My goodness, I must have died a thousand deaths in that few seconds.
Just some queries about the show:
1. Do they really spend the night in the SAME bed? Hehehe
2. How long will the series continue to air? Because I’m thinking of designing a couple tee with some kissing prints on them and send to MBC!
3. Does anyone know their vital statistics? I don’t want to screw up the designs!
