Breathtaking tango performance

On October 17, it marked the official date of mega superstar, Rain (Jeong Ji Hoon a.k.a Bi) who recently came out with his 5th album, Rainism. A special show is put together on MBC “비 컴백특집쇼:나, 비, 춤” (Rain/Bi Special Comeback: “Me. Rain. Dance.”) and Kim Suna was asked personally by him to help as a special guest-dance partner for the special stage tango dance performance of “Bad Guy”

WOW. Very impressive! I was glued to my seat in awe while watching them dancing together. Great chemistry, very comfortable with each other (despite of their age differences and the fact that Bi still calls her “Noona” =D so cute~), and Jihoon was such a complete gentleman to Suna. (Love the necklace that he gave her on her birthday. Raindrops~ kinda remind me of Tiffany & Co. raindrop necklace collection)
I’ve always admired Bi’s excellent dance skills, and I kinda missed that in a last few years. So while watching the video last night, he proved me once again that he still got the moves. What an excellent dance choreography for a song I never cared so much before. (I didn’t even realize this song existed in his 4th album since I didn’t have the repackaged edition one lol) Now I love the song more than ever.

The show last night recorded a very close rating of 12.9% compared to 13% rating of SBS “Scale of Providence” (starring Golden Bride’s Song Chang Eui, Lee Sang Yoon, Jeon Hye Bin, Kim Yoo Mi). Jihoon (Bi) and Suna did such a marvelous job putting this together at the end, though through the process, Suna worked so hard to get it all together. (It was pretty funny when they first got together, because some of the moves are, ehm, very ’scandalous’ and sexy. teehee.) Suna unni is a very sexy woman and I can’t stop smiling because Jihoon seems to perfectly know about it even before he asked her to dance. He knows exactly how this tango will come out and that was why he picked her at the first place. They were really sizzling hot together on that stage!
Kudos to the PD and of course to Jihoon and Suna for bringing us an excellent tango on a friday nite ;) Looking at their sharp moves, and just breathtaking performance make me wanna dance too, lol.
Thanks for bringing this to us Shenny. I really admire Suna and I am delighted to see her and Bi in this performance. Jihoon, Bi, of course, is a powerhouse! I am in awe of his energy and passion which his work and he himself exude!
Love the energy… not so sure if the fusion tango-pop but love everything else!
Thanks for sharing the clip. I think I’m MORE IMPRESSED with Kim SunAh. A different side of her we don’t see and they look so comfortable with each other. If I remember correctly, I think I read somewhere awhile back that G.O.D was originally to be a group consisting of guys and a girl; and she was the girl who was suppose to be in it. So, I guess I’m not too surprised she can do those moves so flawlessly. Awesome performance.
