From Jung Jin Young’s point of view

ay_link November 4th, 2008

To those of you who are watching KBS2 sageuk drama, Kingdom of the wind (starring Jumong’s Song Il Guk), this picture above should be familiar to you. Though he has his ‘modern’, rockish-look with that long hair, Jung Jin Young is, to me, a one hot curly ahjussi, I mean, king. ^_^
(and if you don’t believe me, watch episode 1. Just 1 episode of KOTW, and you’ll see what I mean. lol)

Jung Jin Young, “An actor can get disappointed.”

On November 1, Jung Jin Young was on the KBS2 “Entertainment Relay”, broadcasting an interview from Seoul University, generates the fans’ interests. Especially those students who are currently finishing up their studies about the film/movie industry.

Using a metaphor of a chef, Jung Jin Young said it’s “like mixing the bowl to create a beautiful noodle dish. Sometimes it takes just the right mixing to get the taste right.” He added also, “An actor can feel sad and sometimes get disappointed..  but can you still assess of being happy despite of feeling disappointed and sad?” he said it with laughter.

Jung Jin Young debuted in 1997, through a movie, “Green Fish”. “I’d have thought that being a movie star is vague and easy, but it is not.” He also appeared together with Park Shin Yang and Jeon Do Yeon in 1998 “The Promise”. He ended with this, “As a movie star, I live to eat a meal and make a movie.”

(I’ve been watching him through King Yuri on Kingdom of The Wind, and his role is very captivating.  From the very first episode, I got hooked right on.  Never seen him in any of those movies above, but now I know why he picked this role for his comeback TV drama after being absent for so long.)

Oh so this is how the king in KOTW looks like. I am also watching this drama. Actually, I watched Jumong on Philippine tv last year and had watched it kinda 2x on VCD/DVD because I loved the story.

Hi ay_link, thanks for the post. I am so in love with Jung Jin Young. After watching Ep 1 of KOTW, I had to look him up because I knew nothing about him and thought he was amazing. Great King photo! Thanks for the post.
