Oh, whatta news! ^^
This super talented pianist, (to whom I always like to refer him as the Jim Brickman of Korea) Yiruma has been selected as the DJ for KBS1 93.1 FM “All the music of the world”.
So, starting today, January 1 ‘2009, for 2 hours at 6pm (Mon-Fri), Yiruma will be replacing the previous host, the tenor singer Im Tae Gyeong (35). As PD Ahn Jong Ho said, because of Im Tae Gyeong’s international schedule will be difficult for him to continue on with this program, Yiruma is the perfect choice for the next host of this program.
(Well, yes, of course. Perfect Choice. What could’ve been better to pick a pianist like Yiruma, who has started his piano from the age of 5, to be the DJ of a classical FM radio? *Giddy* This is awesome~ though I’m not a big fan of classical music *grin*)
Congrats, Yiruma!

First of, BIG Thanks to dearest _shin_ for this bringing this up to my attention <3
What are the chances? This song, Still With You was on Blue Night a couple week nights ago, and one of Jazzholic’s avid readers also brought this site to my attention (yes, Alex did a freestyle in that dark room, keke.. totally awesome nonetheless), and now, on the first day of 2009, Alex and Na Yoon Kwon AND YIRUMA gave us this special present as the opening song? *dies* This is just too…. wonderful. *happy blissful sigh*
(I know how much Alex loves this song, but I dare not to dream that he sang it live on Blue Night. Thank YOU, Algoon. Happy New Year to you too! MORE POWER & SUCCESS & LOVE ^^)

With Yiruma on the piano, together with Alex & Na Yoon Kwon, singing this beautiful, Eric Benet’s song on Blue Night’s opening is an absolute MAGICAL moment. I just hope this picture would give the complete mental picture in our head of how the three of them this song justice last night. Isn’t Blue Night so awesome?! ^^

A closer look of the man behind the piano… YIRUMA <3
