One more episode to wait, and we can see Marco joining the cast of MBC daily drama, 사랑해, 울지마 (I love you, don’t cry). Starting from next Monday, January 9.

Marco as the foreign worker, Pablo on “I love you, don’t cry”

The model/actor from Argentina, Marco has spent his first day of filming today as the new cast opposite of Misu’s sister, Mi Seon (played by Lee Ah Hyeon). Marco was born in Argentina, and that’ll make his character as foreigner also, named Pablo (I believe they used “Santos” in the previous news but I see they now change it to “Pablo” lol) Marco’s character, Pablo will add an interesting contrast to Mi Seon’s life as her unfaithful jerk husband left her and her two daughters.

In the middle of filming, which took place at the restaurant, they had their film filming. Pablo will appear as the new worker for the restaurant, being introduced to Mi Seon by the owner, and he is to work as part-timer. Marco said that after the first shooting is done, “Since this is a full-scale drama, I’m kinda nervous. But the staff and crew, also the relaxing atmosphere really help me. They coach me really well and the filming ended up safely…” as he told the reporter about his first day.

“I have never appeared in a daily drama before, though I had a couple of scenes as extras (MBC “Air City”, and also he appeared on “We Got Married” as Son Dambi’s pretend husband). Marco admitted that it was quite hard before, but now he’s ready to learn his character and memorize the script to practice more. It is said that he has passion and energy to become a good actor.

Marco said, “I have this unusual habit of laughing a lot, so to shoot a scene with a straight face is kind of hard for me. I try not to laugh a lot and do my best to finish up the filming promptly.” He also thanked his co-star, actress Lee Ah Hyeon, his senior, for helping him a lot.

Marco learned a lot from the seniors, scriptwriter and also the PD. “I want to watch how they do it and learn from it. Waiting on the set is so much fun, though it takes a lot a work to shoot just a scene.” And sometimes since he got all so excited, he can’t help it and wanted to scream a lot. (Yeah, I can imagine haha.. he’s pretty out there with expressing his feelings haha)

“I love you, don’t cry” got its highest ratings 16.9% on yesterday’s episode (episode 58) as the plot thickens and everyone is anticipating the day when Misu finds out that she’s not the real daughter though Young Min’s auntie.

Marco’s episode will start this upcoming Monday, January 9 on episode 60.
Stay tuned! ^^
