Hail to the power of So Ji Sub

OK, I admit I was having fun playing around the thought of what would be the perfect, catchy title for this post *grins* and since, the only thing I can think about is SO JI SUB and all his… worthiness *double grins* I knew “Cain & Abel” episode 1 is going to make it no matter what, but yeah, didn’t expect to ‘make it’ this high.

Wooot~!

So Ji Sub & Shin Hyun Joon’s power proved top spot 15.9% ratings for “Cain & Abel”

Last night, SBS highly anticipated drama, “Cain & Abel” aired its pilot episode which marked as the return on Mr. Sonic a.k.a So Ji Sub. Top ratings have been grabbed by the KBS2 drama, “Hateful Once Again” (starring Park Hye Jin and other casts that I can’t remember their names until now), but seems like from now one, “Cain & Abel” will take on the lead.

According to TNS Media Korea research ratings company, on the 18th last night, SBS ‘Cain & Abel’ grabs a record of 15.9%, following the KBS 2TV “Hateful once again” of just 0.3% lower than “Cain & Abel”, and MBC “Return of Iljimae” with only 10%.

The first broadcast is pretty strong, and I admit I was mesmerized more with Shin Hyun Joon’s character Sun Woo, rather than So Ji Sub, being the younger brother. Especially that reunion scene where they walk up to the rooftop, pretending they’re mad at each other, while the flashback of their childhood memories tells us that they’re reliving the moment as if they’re still in their teens. It was such a powerful scene altogether, and you can feel the chemistry between the two great handsome actors. (Gosh Shin Hyun Joon is so… *girly sigh*….)

Hail to the power of So Ji Sub & Shin Hyun Joon! I guess the fans are really anticipating their comeback, as some of the lucky fans of So Ji Sub got to see episode 1 on the big screen theater. According to one of our beloved translators, saturn, Ji Sub booked the whole theater for his fans and he was there from the beginning till the end of the episode. He was there to watch the 1st episode with his fans, and I’m all the way here in LA watching the episode by myself… boooooo~ :)

I finally had a chance to see it and I loved it. Can’t wait for the subs so I can understand their conversations but Jisub just shines. He’s so adorable and I loved the fact that he’s playing a character who’s more on the easy going side.
