What a great opportunity for them as celebrities to take some time off to do voluntary service. This time, although they’re doing this a tvN cable TV show (World Special Love), it’s still for a good cause and I applaud them for that. Bless their hearts.

Lee Jun Ki, “Jakarta was hot and floody, but we had a great time”
Actor Lee Jun Ki shares these pictures on his personal website after his trip with Kim Ha Neul to Jakarta, Indonesia.
Last week, on the 11th, Lee Jun Ki, Kim Ha Neul and the crew of cable channel tvN joined hands together with Good Neighbors, a world international relief organization, has visited Jakarta, Indonesia. According to Lee Jun Ki, “I was pretty worried about my decision to go on this trip. It can get very devastating to go outside your comfort zone to do this kind of (service) trip to give love to others. I took a serious consideration as if I was doing this for my own good.”
“I was with them for one day, but I could feel their struggle…. I was face with the truth that they don’t have much (money), and live a humble life day by day…” as he wrote in his blog.
With this, Lee Jun Ki also expressed, “Kim Ha Neul and I had a hard time leaving you all behind… I was actually in tears, no I was really sad.” Looks like he really had a good time out there, learning more about how tough life can be. But indeed, he had a great time.
Finally, he also wrote to his fans in Indonesia, “Thank you so much for all the love”, “Your country was hot, but your love for me truly made a big change in me.” he said while expressing his gratefulness.
In Indonesia, Lee Jun Ki and team donated around 500 million won during their 7 days stay.
This episode will be shown on tvN cable TV sometime around next month (the date is not yet scheduled yet).

it’s great to hear celebs taking these kinds of trips. their stories are always so touching. even though, it’s a short visit, every little bit counts.
