I love this show! ^^ 스타의 친구를 소개합니다 (Introducing Star’s Friend) is one of the best variety shows out there since “We Got Married” era is now over (and dying… especially after Alex and Shinae aren’t there anymore).
The format is pretty simple. In this full hour show, we get to see celebrities (actors, actresses, singers, comedians) with their best buddy on the show. And their buddy will compete with others, and the show basically will match-make them. No strings attached. No cliffhanger. And at the end, both MCs, Hyun Young and Lee Hwi Jae will ask, “Who is the person? (that they like)” to each of Star’s Buddy.

The show airs every Sunday @ 5:30PM on MBC.
Earlier in the episode, Alex has brought his buddy, and I remember Sung Shi Kyung was also there on the same episode.

Last Sunday, “Introducting Star’s Friend” invited Hwanhee & Brian (FTTS), Danny Ahn (G.O.D), Yo So Young (After School – her friend, Jeong Mo Ah was the winner this time), and get this, Hwayobi was there too. Woohoo~ the inner HwanYobi fans in me got a little reunion~

(pst, Brian teased Hwanhee when MC Lee Hwi Jae told Hwayobi that her ‘husband’ is there, “What’s wrong with you guys… why so shy… go on, I know you wanna hug her!” HAHA… and so they both hugged shyly. Kakakaka…cuteeee~~ )

The format of the show is pretty much the same for every episode, but I noticed they’ve changed it a bit for last Sunday’s. The guys get ‘punished’ by going on a ride in a theme park. Hwanhee looked so scared and kept yelling, “Stop it! Enough!” hahaha… so cute. But one thing still consistent is when the ‘guests’ have to wear their mask before entering the studio. They have to cover their face, and will get some ‘points’ from the opposite side which then they’ll compete for the best point. Those who get the most point will be able to take off their mask and finally show their handsome/pretty/ugly face *lol*

My fave parts:
- When Brian called his church buddy, a Korean American version of Lee Seung Gi, and they seem really close. Brian asked, “Hey, are you nervous?” in English after the friend (sorry forgot his name) said, “Hey wazzup B!” ^^
Then on the ‘talent show’, they both sang a song. His friend played the guitar. I could’ve sworn that the song they sang is a Christian song :)
- Danny Ahn and his buddy danced to 3 G.O.D songs~ Kyaaa… I think I have a sudden-crush on Danny Ahn LOL… he’s so… charismatic. Looks calm, but the guy can rap!
- Hwayobi’s friend is a macho gal~ who can rap~ and seems like none of the guys like her.. lolz. Poor her. Oh, and she has a ‘crush’ on my Hwanhee! LOL… she couldn’t rap in front of Hwanhee, and was sooo nervous. Hwanhee was looking at her silly as if saying, “why is she laughing?” lol~
- And the cutest part is when they brought out two little baby tigers. (Two of them. ^_^ So cuteeeeeeee…. seriously I love baby tigers~ :P One of them liked Hyun Young, kekeke… Lee Hwi Jae was like, “She’s taken…” ) Hwanhee asked, “What’s its name?” in such a cute, adorkable way~…
