Yoon Eun Hye is the female Gu Jun Pyo

…for “Lady Castle” (레이디 캐슬) that is!

Wooot! The “Goong” princess is backkkk! And I am excited.
This is going to be great, I hope. And hopefully it’ll surpass her last drama, “Coffee Prince” even more. Yoon Eun Hye is just one of those actresses on my “A-list”

Yoon Eun Hye will be the female version of Gu Jun Pyo

Just as the popularity of Lee Min Ho raised up because of his perfect portrayal of Gu Jun Pyo, coming up next is Yoon Eun Hye, whose known best for her roles in “Goong” and “Coffee Prince”. Both roles in which dedicated to fit her best, this time she’ll come back as the heroine of the arrogant, “Gu Jun Pyo-syndrome” character to your TV screen.

After 2 years of long silience and rest, she’s finally back with a TV drama “Lady Castle”, directed by PD Ji Yong Soo (KBS “Flowers for my life”, “Hello God”, and “Oh Pilseung Boon So Young”), along with scriptwriters Yun Eun Hyung and Kim Eun Hee (“When it’s at night”, “Snow Queen”, “Winter Sonata”, and “Sweet 16″; Yun Eun Hyung is also the writer of “Summer Scent”, “Wolf’s temptation”, and Kwon Sang Woo-Ha Ji Won’s movie “Love So Divine”).

In “Lady Castle”, Yoon Eun Hye will play a role of a 25-yr old heiress chaebol (tycoon), 최보윤 (Choi Bo Yoon). She doesn’t care about others, strong-headed, selfish like the world revolves around her and nothing else matters. Her trademark words are “Shut up” (“닥쳐”) and “Get lost” (“꺼져”). Just like the perfect princess-syndrome storyline, this super wealthy and beautiful heiress Choi Bo Yoon has everything she could’ve wanted in the world but one. Love. Yet later on, her life will then be disrupted after a poor man disguises himself as a housekeeper with an eye on her family fortune, and as she falls in love with this ordinary man.

From the background character, it sounds like the “Choi Bo Yoon-syndrome” will then invade the viewers with Yoon Eun Hye’s captivating charm. This drama will also introduce a different kind of fashion and settings. Fans are expecting to see Yoon Eun Hye’s designs as a fashion designer.

After BabyVOX got disbanded, Yoon Eun Hye has been doing a variety of dramas that challenged her with different set of roles. From an extraordinary commoner princess in MBC “Palace” (Goong), to “Vineyard Man”, and to a complex character in “Coffee Prince”, she had plenty of share playing as a poor girl. But this one, “Lady Castle” will transform her in a role we’ve never seen her in before.

As for now, the production of “Lady Castle” is still doing some casting for the rest of the cast, since only “Choi Bo Yoon” is confirmed for Yoon Eun Hye. In the meantime, the other TV networks are in the talk and coordinating with their broadcasting schedule. No doubt that those TV networks, SBS, KBS, MBC would want to grab this chance to broadcast the drama. (But most likely it’ll go to KBS, as the PD and Scriptwriters have been working with KBS the most. We shall see! ^^ I’m all perked up now. WOOT!)
