And Park Gun Hyung was excellent in KBS2 “Kingdom of the wind”. I was pretty much torn between Song Il Guk and him. So it’s a pleasant surprise to see how he’s been doing now since his drama ended months ago.
300 fans attended Park Gun Hyung’s first fanmeeting
Actor Park Gun Hyung held his first Japan fanmeeting in Osaka, Japan on April 19.
According to his Japanese fans, he’s unique and witty, and was able to ‘capture the heart of his fans’. He arrived in Osaka, Japan early on the 19th before the fanmeeting, and after going through immigration, his fans greeted him with a bunch of roses. Park Gun Hyung was very surprised because no one was supposed to know about his arrival schedule.
The fanmeeting was held for about 2 hours, and it was divided into 2 parts. In part 1, it was the Q&A time for Park Gun Hyung, then in Part 2, he performed a special song on stage for his fans. (Wow, he also sang a song by Yim Jae Bum! I wanna see the clip~~)
He also said that he picked the script for “Kingdom of the winds” especially for his fans. He thought over it about 7 times before he decided, but he felt special it was his first historical drama.
In addition, he’s currently practicing for a musical, “Angels”, in which he has to practice playing a drum with his drumsticks. It will be another surprise present for his fans also.
Park Gun Hyung said, “I have never met directly with the Japanese fans, so this is a very special meeting for me. Thank you for all the love and supports. I’d want to find a time to visit Japan when I get a chance next time.”
