Here’s one underrated actor/excellent singer who has been there all along on my A-list, Kim Min Jong oppa ;) Love his voice, and always love his acting also. As a singer, he has produced about 8 solo albums, and appeared on some movies and TV dramas such as “Secret” (with Kim Ha Neul and Ha Ji Won; highly recommended), “Guardian Angel” (with Song Hye Gyo – also highly recommended), and his latest project was “The Return of Iljimae” (I haven’t watched this, but I heard about his charismatic role)

Kim Min Jong, “Jang Yoon Jung revealed Mother, Friends, Teachers’ blessings”

Actor/Singer Kim Min Jong talks about Jang Yoon Jung, one of the hosts from SBS Sunday special, Gold Miss, on KBS2 Entertainment program, “Sangsang Plus” airing May 12.

Kim Min Jong said that one day he got a call from Jin Jae Young (his hoobae/junior) about Jang Yoon Jung. Apparently Jang Yoon Jung has a crush on him for about 15 years. So they called him up to come on the show and surprised her. So that was why he was on “Gold Miss” show a few weeks back, and surprised her with his dazzling smile~

When Jang Yoon Jung saw him, she was like, “OMG… I have been a fan of yours since I was still in school! I used to read ALL your interviews and such…” It was really a cute star-struck moment ;) and we can see how Kim Min Jong was really touched and happy to meet her. Such a genuine gesture also as he reached for her hand and brought her back to ‘reality’ (She was pretty out of it when they opened her blindfold, so she screamed and walked away in embarrassment lol.. cute moment~)

Kim Min Jong also told “Sangsang Plus”, that one of his good buddies, actor Son Ji Chang told him to hook up with her, since she’s in love / had a crush on him for that long.

During the broadcasting, some people asked him, “Are you going to eat the noodles from yesterday?” (Huh?) and Kim Min Jong answered, “Jang Yoon Jung is really popular that men would say they like her. I love my mother and she’s been a round a lot. So, similar to Buddhism, the priest gives the blessings. And when I go to sauna, my friends will ask for some noodles.” *??? I really don’t get what he’s saying here, errr.. need to watch the episode itself to ‘make sense’ of whatever he’s saying about noodles and Buddhism, haha, sorry for the confusion haha :P*)

And after broadcasting, Kim Min Jong said that he treats Jang Yoon Jung like a good friend/younger sister. He also sent a ‘video letter’ to her saying that, “though it’s been difficult to schedule a time, I’ll treat you to something yummy next time. Good luck in whatever you do!”
