(Left-to-right: Han Hyo Joo, Bae Soo Bin, Lee Seung Gi, Mun Chae Won)
Here’s the drama I’ve never talked about before in this blog. Why? Because of one reason, well, maybe two, but she’s kinda minor-ish. Never liked Lee Seung Gi as both singer and actor, and Han Hyo Joo, though she’s rather cute, I always have my own ‘problems’ with her acting. In “Spring Waltz” she was okay-ish, and I watched that till the end (for Daniel Henney lol), but Lee Seung Gi? Ugh. And his character is a jack@ss who thinks he’s all that, so I’m out. LOL. But, these pictures of them caught my attention and the 40% rating they had last weekend is giving me a headache~ lol. Why oh why? Maybe I should check them out, or start reading thundie’s excellent recaps ;)
Han Hyo Joo “More exciting things coming up in the future!”
For this weekend’s upcoming episodes of “Brilliant Legacy”, Han Hyo Joo spills the beans on the upcoming kissing scene with her on-screen love interest (played by Lee Seung Gi), or so she told SBS “Section TV” on July 1.
“I don’t know what’s going to happen in the script, but it sure will be an exciting one in the future,” she hinted about the upcoming love story development for her character. Lee Seung Gi also mentioned that no one knows how it’s going to happen, as they haven’t received their scripts yet. Only the writer knows.
“Brilliant Legacy” production team went to a cruise in Japan sea with its cast and crew to film the upcoming scenes where the four characters are pictured in below pictures. These scenes are expected to be airing for this weekend’s episodes, July 4 and 5, including the highly anticipated kissing scene between Lee Seung Gi and Han Hyo Joo.

Another great drama, I’m loving it and I can understand why its ratings are so high. LSG does a good job acting and though he’s not as happy and goffy as he is in 1N2D its still good to see him protray a different side of him. HHJ isn’t all that bad either. Overall the acting is good, the story line is very predictable but still its a good watch. I know I’m going to sound so fan girl-ish but LSG gets hotter each episode, hehehe :P

A ridiculously addictive drama. Nothing outstanding, but its storytelling is captivating and it gets us wanting more all the time.
Haha, it’s all about preference I guess but I think Lee Seunggi is one of the most lovable k-celebs. I knew him mostly from variety shows (of course, 1N2D and old X-Men/LL) and I really like him. This is the first acting job I see of him and dare I say it, even if he’s not the best actor, he is very charismatic and natural. I used to hate his music too, but again, I grew to love some of his songs, so yeah.
Han Hyojoo is great in this drama. Not perfect, but she has really improved. She’s lost her awkwardness and her expressions are more palpable. Her line delivery is also smoother, given the cheesy things she has to say sometimes. I’ve become HHJ’s fan.
Try watching at least the first few episodes. If you hate it, then you’ve proved your point. But I can almost guarantee you’ll love it.

At first, I wasn’t sold on the drama.. bc I was weary about LSG & HHJ BUT I am pleasantly surprised.. he’s a jerk in the first 7 or so episodes.. but he slowly changes.. kind of like Kim Ah Joong in That Fool from her sulky character for 7 episodes into lovable Ji soo.. I became hooked after 4 episodes & LSG’s acting is not bad at all, although not perfect.. it’s very plausible and he has definitely improved since Infamous Chil Sisters and I’ve always loved him in 1N2D so it’s good to see him playing a role contrasting his true personality and it’s quite believable since we all hated Hwan(LSG) the first few episodes for being an A*HOLE.. Han Hyo Joo is alright..she seems like she’s playing a role similar to her own spunky personality.. I’ve watched all of her dramas except Spring Waltz which I’ll probably avoid forever LOL.. but.. OVERALL.. this is a very well done drama.. and it has it’s charms which has cast a spell over a lot of us that are suckers for fairy tales and Cinderella stories.. it’s a very easy to digest drama/highly addicting
