Kim Gyu Ri always reminds me of Gu Su Young unni :) or as I like to call her as the “Korean Cindy Crawford” (because she has that little black dot too). Though I felt sorry for her character to get her boyfriend snatched by Kim Jung Eun’s character in SBS “Lovers” (2006), Kim Gyu Ri has her own charm to pull my attention for some weird reasons. And this time, it’s “Can’t Stop” (working title) the new morning daily drama from MBC – making her comeback to TV screen after 3 years since “Lovers” ended.
Yeah, I know, ‘daily drama’ always scares most of us with its gazillion episodes and soap-opera’ish storyline, so we’ll see if it’s worth to see plus the hundreds episodes to go through. And, for those who’ve been following “That Fool”, you can recognize Seo Yeon (Park Ha Seon) right away, can’t you? ;)

(left to right: Yoo Gun (“Bad Couple”), Lee Ji Hoon (“, Kim Gyu Ri, Won Ki Jun (mean guy from “Gourmet”), Park Ha Seon (“That Fool”)
Yup, remember her? Seo Yeon, or Kang Mo’s fiancee from “That Fool”/Accidental Couple.
It’s nice to see familiar face~ ㅋㅋㅋ
Kim Gyu Ri’s comeback after 3 years, bringing the pure, lovely and charming 팜므파탈 (female fatale)
MBC just released the drama’s posters for 멈출수 없어 (“Can’t stop”) featuring the five leading actors, Kim Gyu Ri, Lee Ji Hoon, Won Ki Jun, Park Ha Seon and Yoo Gun. (picture below; counter-clockwise)
The main poster’s concept is a broken glass to represent the relationship between each characters. In this daily drama, Kim Gyu Ri, partnered up with Lee Ji Hoon, potrays as the pure and lovely woman turned into a ‘female fatale’ as life gets harder because of her husband’s mother. Typical story for a daily drama, daughter-in-law turns evilish because of the evil MIL. Not sure why people aren’t getting tired of this kind of storyline for daily drama -_-
In the other poster, we can see the ‘before’ she becomes the ‘fatale’ (on the left), and after as her costume changed to red, with intense eyes and thick makeup. These two posters capture the basic theme of the concept for the drama itself.
MBC “Can’t Stop” (working title) is directed by Kim Woo Seon, scripted by Kim Hong Ju. Broadcasting its pilot episode on Monday, July 13.

Err, I am worried. Kim Gyuri in Lovers was not exactly a revelation. Her acting was so…stony there that even when I felt sorry for her, I was just glad she was out of the screen.
But Yoogun and Lee Jihoon are very interesting! Dangit, why does LJH keep choosing daily dramas?!
