When I first read that Actor Shin Hyun Joon (whom I first knew him from KISS’ excellent music video, “Because I’m a girl” – YT link after the cut) is injured while filming his new movie, “Family Photo”, my heart sank :( he had 15 stitches and had to go back to filming right after. Now that’s dedication!
Yeah, ever since that KISS’ MV, I always have this soft spot for him, in whatever he’s doing – whether in TV dramas (his latest was “Cain & Abel” with So Ji Sub), and movies. Very charismatic actor, very charming. Saw a group of him and Shinae also when they were younger. His charismatic acting is perfect fitted for both the antagonist AND protagonist role. He can play as the lean mean evil man, but he also has this soft, kind eyes that when he glazes around, people, I mean girls, would melt. For real. ㅋㅋ No, I’m not bias. Oh, and yes, one of these days I have to watch “Family Outing” since he was in it for the last 2 weeks.

Actor Shin Hyun Joon got 15 stitches of his finger injury while filming
According to Shin Hyun Joon’s official representative’s phone call to the Money Today Star news, Shin Hyun Joon injured his finger while filming his newest movie, ‘Family Picture’ in Chungju, Chungcheongbuk area. He was taken straight to the hospital to get treatments.
His management stated that while filming the action scene, he got injured, but he didn’t even get to tear up as they were still filming. After they went to the hospital, the doctor needed to give him 15 stitches. (Yikes!)
As soon as he got discharged from the hospital, Shin Hyun Joon rushed back to the shooting location and continued on filming until around 7pm. All of his action scenes need to be redirected, so that they can continue filming his scenes without putting his injury in a risk.
The movie “Family Photo” tells story about murders and kidnapping cases occured in a small, local town. Shin Hyun Joon potrays as the kind, warm-hearted detective along with actor Lee Ki Woo.

He injured? His latest movie had same plot with his another movie. The Last Gift. Just that in this movie he played good guy.
Another dedicated actor. KISS MV was my first K-Pop MV too. He is the reason why I hooked on Stairway to Heaven. He just had a great chemistry with Choi Ji Woo. I’m so sad that he not together with CJW in the drama. But I made my own conclusion that they been together in heaven. LOL.

we’re the same! i 1st recognized him from this MV, when my friends (boys.red) were vigorously told me that there is sooo sad short korean movie (we’re still don’t have any clue that korean MV could be that long) and forced me to watch it. and since then i just felt in love with korean ballads ^^
