Hero Jaejoong makes his first public appearance for “Heaven’s Postman”
Earlier today, Hero Jaejoong made his public appearance in the midst of his ongoing legal feud against his agency, SM Entertainment. His appearance in this press conference is envitable, and of course, some of the reporters would rather curious as to what will happen to Dong Bang Shin Ki as a group.
Back in July, Hero, along with two other members Micky Yoochun and Xiah Junsu, asked a court to nullify their exclusive contract with SM Entertainment. They cited unfair terms in their contract, and the court granted them the freedom to carry out their individual activities until a final verdict was made.
However, SM Entertainment argued they cannot exercise their individual rights while acting as members of Dong Bang Shin Ki. They gave the group a 10-day deadline, and asked each one of them to decide by Thursday, on whether they’ll be a part of the team to resume their domestic activities for next year.
The other two members, U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin had not engaged in legal action against SM, but they were also asked for a decision, whether or not they decide to stick by the other members, or siding with the agency on the issue.
The five of them debuted in 2004 with their first single, “Hug.” Now, they are the biggest boyband in the entire Asian continent. They have major fanbase throughout Asia, and have seen such a great success in Japanese music industry also.
“Heaven’s Postman” is the second of a total of eight telecinemas which have started opening every week with “My Love, Ugly Duckling” from November 5. These eight episodes will be aired first in Korea, then in Japan starting next January. Then in May next year, it’ll air on Asahi TV program, “Famous Movie Theater.”
