Hallyu actor Ryu Si Won is currently busy preparing for his upcoming concert in just a few days. 5th anniversary is indeed a big deal. Let’s take a closer look at his prep~

Ryu Si Won’s concert tickets sold-out about 80,000 seats
At a studio somewhere in downtown Tokyo, Japan, Hallyu star actor cum singer Ryu Si Won is busy rehearsing for his upcoming concert performance. This concert will be his way of celebrating his 5th year anniversary since his first Japanese debut, in which he has planned to visit 4 cities in Japan in order to reach out to all of his Japanese fans.
Due to his popularity, it has been reported that his concert tickets have been sold out in such short days. He’ll begin his tour concert starting on the 14th, at the Saitama Super Arena, near Tokyo, Japan, then he’ll begin touring to Nagoya, Yokohama and Osaka.
This concert is called “Ryu Si Won’s 5th Anniversary Live 2009″ -ありがとう,そして新たな約束- (Thank you, and a new beginning). To show just how much he loves his fans and to celebrate another successful years of his career.
Ryu Si Won has released about 17 albums in Japan, over the course of 5 years, and he has held about 5 concerts in Japan. He has visited about 18 cities total, 30 times in 5 years, and last year, he even held a Christmas concert for 2 consecutive days, in Tokyo Dome, along with about 80,000 fans. His songs have dominated the Japanese charts, Oricon Weekly/Daily Charts, and he has proved to be a ‘Hallyu’ singer, ready to show Japan his presence.
Ryu Si Won first started his music career after his hallyu drama, “Beautiful Days” in which he appeared as the ‘invisible’ / ghost composer, ZERO. He even wrote the lyrics himself, and performed it magnificently, making everyone impressed at his talent.
Nowadays, Tokyo is one of his home. He has been practicing in his studio about 12 hours a day, with a burning passion to well-prepared himself for this big event. Many of his fans are cheering for him, and officials said that he is very excited to be in this concert and to meet his fans.
He has released two single tracks, which released back in October 7 and November 4 respectively – ‘MEMU’ (女梦) and ‘Kaleidoscope’ (万华镜), have spotted the Oricon Weekly Album Chart and proved just how famous Ryu Si Won is in Japan. In his recent interview with Japanese Oricon local news, he said, “In the first half of this year, I was busy working on my comeback drama, “Style”, but now I’m back with his music, and have been working on my single albums, such as “Kaleidoscope ‘(万华镜). I love the different experience I got with each song.” And he also mentioned about the first time he produced his song, using the composer name “ZERO”, it was frankly written based on his own experience.
