Alex, “People have mistaken me a few times…”
On the prerecording session of SBS “Strong Heart” – hosted by Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Ki, Alex announces that sometimes people mistaken him for someone else.
Alex, “I was sleeping at night, but then a few phone calls came in and asked me, Alex, you’ve been at a bar room a few times this week, eh?” and he said he didn’t know why and how that could happened.
Then later on, he told the audience again (while recording the show), “Sometimes I think people don’t believe that Alex is a human after all,” he said it with frustration. Then he revealed some other embarrassing moments that people could’ve mistaken him doing.
This special episode will be broadcast on SBS “Strong Heart” 강심장 on December 1 at 11:05pm (Seoul time).
Alex has to lose weight to prepare for his MBC drama “Pasta”
Clazziquai front-vocal, Alex said that there’s a new challenge for him now that he’s preparing for his next debut drama, “Pasta”. The character he’s playing is kinda aiming for a change of appearance from Alex – the kind and gentle man, into this sharp image with determination character. A chef who knows it all, kinda like Chef Gordon Ramsey from Hell’s Kitchen show. The one who’s running his own kitchen and puts up with the new challenge everyday.
For MBC “Pasta”, Alex has to shed about 5kg of his weight to fit into this special character as Chef Kim San.
His drama is scheduled to be airing on MBC after “Queen Seonduk” last episode, where Alex plays as the Chef/Owner for this Italian restaurant called, “Mamma Mia”.
According to Fluxus, Alex has been doing some research such as watching the American Show of 30 Degrees, SBS “Style” Ryu Shi Won and also Hell’s Kitchen, Gordon Ramsay. “Alex is committed to give this character a passionate look, as a chef with such a strong, attractive image. He won’t disappoint his fans,” said Fluxus management.
MBC is planning to wrap up “Queen Seonduk” by December, which will leave the next spot on Monday-Tuesday drama for “Pasta” in January 2010.
