“The Vocalist” are Wheesung, Bobby Kim and Kim Bum Soo – which matched perfectly with the descriptions as they are The Vocalist.
Bobby Kim, Kim Bum Soo and Wheesung to hold a ‘Christmas Concert’
Talented singers Bobby Kim, Kim Bum Soo and Wheesung have made to impress by having a concert together. The three of them will held a three day concert from Dec 25 through the 27 at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium. The concert is titled “The Vocalist”
On November 30, the three of them held a press conference in Cheongdam. Kim Bum Soo told the reporters, “I think it’ll be great for the three of us with our own colors to be independent as singers.” Each and every one of them has their own unique vocal color which will bring such a great harmony through their special performance.
Bobby Kim said that he doesn’t know much about techniques, “But Kim Bum Soo and Wheesung have this really great vocals, it creeps me out. They are one of those singers who can have their own reflection of their glory, and if combined together, it’ll bring such a great impact.”
Wheesung added, “Together with Bobby Kim and Kim Bum Boo, I’ve shared the benefits of being in the midst of them, I’ll save up the bass parts for myself to harmonize with them. Together you’ll be able to hear such a full show from the three of us.”
In this special concert performance, their songs are consists of these three themes: “My Stage”, “Blue Rose”, and “Fantastic crossover”. They’ll have 20 songs within the three hours of solo concert, three duets, three singers, three people, three days, until the 27th.
This is a show that will make sure to wow its audience with their own vocal impression. People will be so thrilled to listen to them as I was when I listened to them singing on MBC “Music Travel Lalala” episode 49 last night. (Below is the clip of it)
“The Vocalist” performances will hold prior performances such as Dec 12 in Seoul and Gwangju, then on the 19th in Busan, then they’ll go to Daegu on the 24th before the opening concert on Christmas Day.
They’re singing a song by Vibe – 3rd album, “술이야” which means “Get Drunk”. I’ll post the real live version, sung by Vibe, 3 years ago on Music Core below:
