It’s one thing to be a rookie, and if you’ve seen him acted in that short mini drama couple years ago, errr… he really ain’t a rookie~hehe… :P

Alex, “Acting challenge… nervous but being careful…”
“I am a rookie in this field,” Alex admits.
Singer-turns-actor Alex has turned himself from a performer/singer into an exceptional actor as he worked his way up to his newest drama airing next month.
Alex says that he is indeed a ‘no-name rookie’ in the newest drama MBC “Pasta”, airing first episode on January 4. He said, “I have accepted this title as a learning attitude,” with aspiration.
Alex said when he first debuted as a singer to be performing on the stage, he got really nervous at first, but he remembered of being careful. This acting gig will be another step to look forward to and I’m darn sure that all of his fans will be there with him.
According to his management, Alex’s filming schedule has been delayed a couple of times since the actor is currently preparing for his role with dieting and other form of exercise he’s been doing. Among the four characters, Alex, Honey Lee, Gong Hyo Jin and Lee Seon Gyun, Alex is the only one that can actually cook for real, but his character as a food critic actually makes him the only one who doesn’t actually get to cook in the drama. He’ll be a regular customer who specializes in foods – or more like a food critic. Though he doesn’t actually deal with the cooking stuff, Alex volunteers himself to help Gong Hyo Jin, a rookie chef to achieve her dream of becoming a professional chef of this Italian restaurant. Lee Seon Gyun will be the chef, while Gong Hyo Jin’s character starts off as a rookie chef who worked her way up to be the real chef. Meanwhile Honey Lee will be a special food researcher/specialist who shared a past-relationship with Alex. However, the three of them, with Lee Seon Gyun will also have a triangle storyline.
Meanwhile, Alex with Clazziquai will perform their special “Mucho Christmas” concert in Seoul on Dec 24-25th at the Samsung Textile Center Event Hall. Alex, “I think people are like the most delicious wine. In this sense, I have high hopes for “Pasta”, as it tells a story of how people learn to be excellence in what they do, and it also deals with foods,” he said.
