‘Pasta’ Lee Seon Gyun – Honey Lee’s surprise Christmas greetings
With “Queen Seonduk” wrapped up its final episode last Tuesday, MBC “Pasta” crew and cast are now busy promoting their new upcoming drama set to air after the New Year’s, on January 4. Here we see the two co-stars, Lee Seon Gyun and fellow actress/ex-Miss Korea Honey Lee send their fans two pictures for Christmas greetings.
The couple send a message, “We wish you a Merry Christmas! May the peace and happiness be with you all viewers in your own home,” and, “Please look forward to our drama ‘Pasta’ with lots of favors and attention…”
Lee Seon Gyun plays as the Italian restaurant chef/owner that Honey Lee is studying under his care. They met in school when they were both studying in Italy, and developed into lovers. Lee Seon Gyun said, “We met in Italy, kinda like ‘Lovers in Paris’ style, but definitely not the ‘roman lover’,” (laughs).
Last May, Lee Seon Gyun got married to Jeon Hye Jin, and they just had a baby. Now, he’s working on another project, which seems to be a great year all-around for him. Lee Seon Gyun said, “I’ve got the best Christmas in my life, with my family and my beautiful baby.”
Honey Lee said that on Christmas Day, she celebrated it with her mom and her sister, which they were going to see a traditional Korean music performance together.
The both of them got a cute nicknames for each other. Lee Seon Gyun is called, “써니오빠” (Sunny Oppa), while he has been calling her by, “허니 (Honey)” as they acted like a sweet, happy couple, looking at each other’s eyes.
However, unlike the Christmas theme, their sweet love lines won’t be just as easy. Honey Lee, Lee Seon Gyun and Gong Hyo Jin will develop a love triangle.
