Extension? Yay or Nay?

Huh? O_o? totally didn’t see this coming. But, extension episodes for Pasta? Hmm…

MBC promotes 4 episodes extension for “Pasta”

Due to its (huge?) popularity, MBC “Pasta” may be extended by 4 episodes.

(FOUR EPISODES. I’m not complaining too much since it means MORE ALEX.)

According to MBC officials, “We’re trying to review the 4 episodes extension, and hope to have the final decision by early next week. But currently the 4 episodes extension is in the discussion.” They are other stuffs to be weighed in if they decide to go ahead with this extension episodes, which includes the production and of course, the cast availability.

MBC have currently aired 10 episodes, and the plot has developed further for the two lead couple, Chef Choi Hyun Wook and Yoo Kyung. Ratings have been boost up also to 17% which obviously gets the production (coughMBCcough) too excited.

MBC official also said that with a solid storyline and superior acting from the cast seem to be the reason why they’ve been getting great responses. But as they’re planning the 4 episodes extension, they hope to still get the viewers’ support, as the plan is being discussed.

“Pasta” supposed to end on the 23rd, but when this 4 episodes extension go through, it’ll be pushed down to March 9.

HOWEVER, I don’t think I’m going to complain a lot about extension episodes. More ALEX = fine by me. LOL. What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?

No complain as long as it means more Alex. the only complain that I have abt Kdrama, cant they break the stereotype that the 2 main leads MUST end up together, with a broken-hearted second lead.

@Magdalene lol hear, hear. I hate triangle love stories also. I mean, why must the 2nd male lead feel for the female lead when we all know how that’s going to end up? That kind of storyline just makes me *yawns* bored.

Thanks for sharing this piece of news, ay_link!
I’m not really sure I’m happy about this… There have been really episodes with a really bad cliffhanger, not really tempting me to continue watching but I still enjoy it – not sure how long though.

[rambling on]I like the cast but I hate how they make Alex play a role that’s incredibly passive. Where did that aggressive second lead go the girl actually relies on? At the moment, ep7 that is, there’s a bit of enmity on Soo Kyung’s side. On the other side ep7 was good because San at least got a small portion of her attention when she “celebrated” and they got out of the elevator. Positively speaking, he won’t be able to raise any hopes of getting the girl, lol.[/rambling off]

So… Nay? I love the bickerings but I hate slow-motion love triangles without any bit chances for the second lead. Don’t let Alex suffer, and please do not drag the plot. Thank you, MBC! Rather, air the remaining episodes of Strike Love or Tamra :D

I’m afraid it’s a NAY for me too. Will have to agree with [@Linda]. I really don’t want to see Alex’s ‘Kim San’ SUFFER anymore than he should.
