Lee Da Hae to attend Warner Bros party in Hollywood
According to her agency, DBM Entertainment, actress Lee Da Hae is invited to attend a Hollywood party by Warner Brothers, a major Hollywood studio. Her agency announced that she will be the only Asian actress that got to be invited. She left for Los Angeles yesterday to attend a ‘character lauching party’ hosted by the Warner Bros.
“It seems that the officials at Warner Bros really interested in Lee Da Hae during their visit in Korea early this year,” said her agency rep. Apparently, those officials were impressed at her multilingual abilities (English and Chinese) as well as her acting skills.
The Warner Brothers’ party in reference will be attended by many big names and high-ranking executives at the studio, and also famous Hollywood actresses such as Jessica Szohr (of “Gossip Girl”), Julia Stiles and also Jennifer Lopez. Warner Bros and Lee Da Hae will reportedly set up a meeting to “discuss future projects” after the party since last time they couldn’t do it due to Lee Da Hae’s busy filming schedules for KBS2 “The Slave Hunters” (Chuno) starring Jang Hyuk and Oh Ji Ho.
Lee Da Hae has appeared in many hit dramas such as 2005 SBS “My Girl”, “Green Rose”, 2008 MBC “East of Eden”, and also the currently airing historical drama, 2010 KBS2 “The Slave Hunters”. The actress attended high school in Sydney, Australia when her family moved there for 5 years before she debuted as an actress. Thus her fluency in English due to her childhood background.
