With numerous rumors about him attending the military, some fans are confused whether or not Kim Nam Gil will still be in “Bad Guy”. The answer is yes, thank God. :D
Kim Nam Gil “Bad Guy” first, before entering military
According to his management, there are some news about the actor not being able to film his next drama because he has to report on military duty. On March 4, through a small article in Star News, Kim Nam Gil’s side confirmed that he has not decided to join the army in June, and is currently working on his next project, “Bad Guy”. The drama is scheduled to air by the first week of August.
“Bad Guy” is expected to air its premiere episode right after “Prosecutor Princess” (first broadcast May 26). And since “Prosecutor Princess” will be 20 episodes, “Bad Guy” will replace the drama sometime in August. Predicted to be the first week of August (August 4)
Last month, Kim Nam Gil and the production team for “Bad Guy” went to Japan for shooting. On Feb 15, he received a warrant to report for military training, but he hasn’t decided when to report for duties. According to “Bad Guy” production team, because of the filming schedule, Kim Nam Gil will postpone his schedule to enter the military until after the drama ends. The rumors about him being replaced by another actor is NOT true at all,” said a representative of “Bad Guy”.
Kim Nam Gil is currently preparing for his fanmeeting, scheduled on the 7th at 3 pm. He’ll meet about 4000 fans from Korea and abroad. Meanwhile, his newest movie, “The Eve Of Storm 폭풍전야 (Big Storm)” is coming out on theaters April 1. According to the press release, Kim Nam Gil lost about 10kg of his weight to portray his character in this movie. He will play a man who is sent to prison after being betrayed by his loved ones and while in prison, he plots his revenge. Kim Nam Gil is praised by many for his rough, rugged look and passionate eyes.
