As we know, Kim Nam Gil’s newest movie, “The Eve of Storm” will be officially released next month, April 1. Last night, they held the press conference to promote the movie.
‘Bidam’ Kim Nam Gil makes a comeback
“For this movie, I was told to lose 14kg…”
“I will enter the military some time in the Fall,” he announces.
Yesterday, around 9am at the Samsung’s Ewha Cultural Center hall, the production team along with actors and director attended “The Eve of The Storm” official press conference. This is the first film in where the actor himself has to overcome such a huge weight loss in order to support his role. It’s almost like Kim Myung Min when he first prepared for his movie. The same concept, different movie/role.
Co-starring with him, actress Hwang Woo Seul-hye, they both mentioned just how passionate they had to be in this movie. They played as lovers, but Kim Nam Gil’s character is being betrayed by his lover and thrown in jail. The movie is about love and revenge.
Actor Kim Nam Gil also announced his future plan, after filming the new SBS drama, “Bad Guy” that he’s planning to enter the military between Fall and Winter this year. That means, “The Eve of Storm” is his final movie before entering the military, and “Bad Guy” will be his last drama for the next 2 years.
^omg, he said he lost 14 kg to prepare for this movie. O_O he’s so skinny to begin with, but then he lost 14 kg?! O_O what’s up with all these actors… Song Il Gook, Namgoong Min, and now Kim Nam Gil…
