‘Bad Guy’ PD Lee Hyeong Min says “Kim Nam Gil is the best actor in Asia”
On March 24-25, the crew and staff of “Bad Guy” held an open press conference in Jeju island, attended by its main actors such as Kim Nam Gil, Han Ga In, Kim Jae Wook, etc. At the press conference, they revealed “Bad Guy” first video teaser which attracted a lot of response from the news media. The drama’s director, Lee Hyeong Min acclaimed his main actor, Kim Nam Gil as the “best actor in Asia”, as well as annoucing actress Han Ga In’s comeback drama after 3 years.
Actor Kim Nam Gil to visit Japan for a charity event
Hot-uprising actor Kim Nam Gil is scheduled to visit Japan next month to attend the 3rd “Korea-Japan Friendship Festa”, according to his agency Star J. Entertainment on Tuesday.
At a press conference, Star J. Entertainment explained that the actor has recently decided to appear for free on the show. This event is to celebrate the 45 years of normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Kim Nam Gil is scheduled to make his official visit to Japan starting April 17, where he’ll also attend a screening for MBC’s hit sageuk (historical drama) “Queen Seonduk”. He will be attending a talk show in Tokyo where he will perform his single song “Can’t I Love You?” from “Queen Seonduk” OST. The following day, the actor will be visiting a welfare facility to promote the image of Hallyu (Korean wave).
The charity event is held every April, based on the friendship, trust and co-existence of the two countries and fosters charity activities through cultural exchange. Choi Soo Jong and Song Il Gook previously have also participated in this event. For this year, the focus of this event is to promote educational supports for children in poverty-stricken areas in the Asia region.
