Actor Bae Soo Bin is featured in DAZED Korea, modeling for Calvin Klein menswear (underwear).  Yet wWith his gentle, yet sexy image, he shows off his gorgeous body and chocolate abs in that wet-look right off the swimming pool of the Westin Resort Hotel, Langkawi, Malaysia.

The actor is currently working on his next historical project, MBC anniversary drama “Dong Yi”.

With scheduled airing date for next month, MBC is ready to promote their new historical drama, Dong Yi.

Han Hyo Joo & Ji Jin Hee show off their “Dong Yi” hanbok pictures

MBC “Dong Yi” is marked as the sageuk version of CSI, recently published their first pictures of the main cast, Ji Jin Hee, Han Hyo Joo, Bae Soo Bin and Lee So Yeon.

The four of them gathered for the photoshoot, each wearing pretty hanboks/traditional Korean costumes. If last year, MBC produced “East of Eden” for their 48th anniversary drama, this year they came up with “Dong Yi” as the 49th year anniversary drama.

Han Hyo Joo revealed that it was her first time wearing hanbok for a drama promotion. She has been working diligently to live up to her character, Sook Bin, who is a water maid who becomes the king’s concubine. She’ll have a triangle love story with Ji Jin Hee, as the King Sook Jong and also Bae Soo Bin who is playing as the angelic, protective figure to Dong Yi – similar to his character, Park Jun Sae in “Brilliant Legacy” – also opposite of Han Hyo Joo. (I’m getting very tired of this kind of character! hmph~)

Lee So Yeon, who was just finished with her drama “Angel’s Temptation” will be playing yet another mean, antagonist character, Lady Jang who is responsible of all the chaos in the palace with King Sook Jong’s 2nd queen (played by Park Ha Sun), Queen In Hyun. You may have seen Park Ha Sun in a historical drama before as she starred in SBS “King & I”, but I remember her vaguely as the fiancee from “The Accidental Couple” (remember her?). And as for Ji Jin Hee, this is his comeback sageuk drama after “Dae Jang Geum” (he looks great in sageuk.) Other actor I’m excited about is Jung Jin Young – it’s always a treat to see him on screen.

MBC will broadcast “Dong Yi” after “Pasta” ends on March 8, every Mondays & Tuesdays.

Here are some pictures from the charity event BH Entertainment artists held together for a fundraising. The proceeds and funds are going towards the children in need.

Actor Lee Byung Hun, Bae Soo Bin, Han Chae Young, Han Hyo Joo, Kim Min Hee, Jin Goo, Hong Ah Reum and other BH Entertainment artists gather for a pictorial for monthly fashion magazine, InStyle for December issue. This event is held to promote a fundraising for the children in need.

The theme for this “Instyle” fund-raiser party has set to project everyone’s unique charm and personality rather than their own appearance as stars. From ‘InStyle’ side, “BH Entertainment wants to participate in this charity to help others, and as Mr. Lee Byung Hun joined the event, the event got more special.

The proceeds of this pictorial will be donated for those children who have incurable illness but under a special financial problem to get a surgery done.

Lee Byung Hun also commented that they hardly got together as a family (under one agency), so he simply was glad to be a part of this special event. “I’m glad we got together and gathered in one place to do something good. We hope that these little children will be able to fight off their disease and get well.”

The photo shoot of these 12 actors, as well as 12 managers and 7assistants, plus around 15 people to do the make-up, hairstyling and clothing, adding up to about 65 staffs members to make this event possible.

“Angel’s Temptation” Bae Soo Bin shows off ripped abs and seductive moves

On his recent transformation, for his character on the SBS drama, “Temptation of an angel” (or known as “Angel’s Temptation), Bae Soo Bin surely has transformed his angelic character to something more captivating.

It’s not just all about revenge in “Angel’s Temptation”, but a huge part of it is because it’s BAE SOO BIN. The man has such beautiful eyes, that I find it hard sometimes to believe that he can actually do ‘evil’ stuff. >_>

His character’s fake name, Ahn Jae Seong 안재성 after undergone the drastic changes (plastic surgery), attempted to seduce his ex-wife who thinks he has been dead somewhere. Ahn Jae Seong appears to be the perfect man who has everything, the looks, the wealth, the charm, with such a fatal attraction to be able to do this ‘payback time!’ as he reinvents himself.

In his first appearance after the plastic surgery (last week), he has learned a lot of stuffs such as horseback riding, range shooting, playing drums with such a charisma, and also to do some sports such as swimming and at the gym. He will demonstrate such a strong appeal to attract his opposite but show no mercy afterward. At swimming, he’ll show such a strong body with perfect abs, just in time to swing his bait to his ex evil wife.

On his official site, Bae Soo Bin wrote, “When writing on a profile for the field under ’skills’, one can put swimming, jazz dance, playing trumpet, drums, guitar, horseback riding, fluent in English and Chinese, and other talents you can show off. But exercise is an exercise, to play instruments and to speak different languages, it takes a lot of time to master. My character seems to aim for the perfect one, so to make this character perfect, I have to try my best not to fail my casting.”

Due to his wife’s betrayal, Ahn Jae Seong plans to do his revenge on his incarnated body with the look of a different person. “Temptation of an angel” has been receiving a lot of positive response, even though the drama doesn’t really get that high of ratings for its timeslot, due to its competition, Queen Seonduk.

Bae Soo Bin in Andre Kim’s prince-charming look ㅋㅋㅋ

Yup, it’s Andre Kim’s fashion show again. And this time, he invited actor Bae Soo Bin (Brilliant Legacy) and actress Jang Soo Hee (Temptation of Wife) are the lead couple for the show “Starry Night.”

I’ve always wondered why and how (and where) would people wear Andre Kim’s collection? o_O? His designs are always like that – and may I quote from his Wiki page, “combine classical designs with futuristic elements”. o_o And get this, the late Michael Jackson was once asked Andre Kim to be his personal designer but he declined the offer saying that his clothes are for people everywhere. Wow. That has got to be something, right? I can totally see the late MJ wearing Andre Kim’s designs, and it’s too bad now we’d never seen him in one anymore. ㅜ_ㅜ (Read about what The New York Times has to say about the 72-years old fashion designer, Andre Kim in their article here.)
