Choi Jung Won builds special relationship with poor children of Bangladesh

Choi Jung Won learns the experience of poverty life from children of Bangladesh with a hope that she can give them a gift of sponsorship. Thus, for a special Children’s Day (May 2), MBC is planning to air a special show called, “LOVE” Hope Concert.

Prior to this, she spent 4 days and 3 nights from April 27 in Bangladesh, visiting those children who live in a difficult environment. She built the relationship with 3 siblings who are currently living with their grandparents, Paruk (15), Musyumi (11) and Rani (10). The oldest one, Paruk is a rickshaw driver, earning about 2000-3000 Won a day. He has to support his siblings with this low income in an unhealthy living environment.

Choi Jung Won promised to sponsor these three silbings to help them financially, so that Paruk, the oldest one can have a chance to study in a vocational training school. Later on they will be able to open a small business to support their grandparents. This special program of Choi Jung Won’s volunteer work will be broadcast on MBC “LOVE” concert on May 5, with a goal to give more hope to the children around the world, especially in Bangladesh.

What do these three people: Choi Jung Won (Kingdom of the Wind), Yeon Jung Hoon (East of Eden), and Lee Ji Hoon have in common? A new movie, “Sweet Dream”! ^^ and from the pictures, it looks pretty interesting.

“Sweet Dream”, directed by Director Jin Hyeong Tae, is based on a true story experienced by the Korean community in Japan, about the work of the yakuza. Discord in the U.S., K (Yeon Jung Hoon) came to Japan to look for his father, and met with Tatsuya (Kacheuki Kitamura), and Junoh (Lee Ji Hoon). With the kind of storyline and the sense of speed editing, we’re to expect a masterpiece work.

In the meantime, starring top actors both in Korea and Japan, Yeon Jung Hoon will introduce the soft image of his character, K, the talented singer, Lee Ji Hoon, who has a wide range of experience in both acting on stage and on screen. Also, they have Choi Jung Won, with her innocent and soft image, toplay as K’s lover. Lastly, the Japanese actor, Kacheuki Kitamura as Tatsuya is also well-known in Japan.

The production net cost for this movie covers about 46억원 (₩ 4,600,000,000) for the global landscape, and also they’re filming this movie 100% in Japan locations.

“Sweet Dream” is expected to be released on the first half of 2009.
