Actress Gu Hye Sun (Boys Over Flowers) has earned herself a new nickname from her fans as “positive beauty”. According to some dentist representative, beautiful smile can’t not be achieved overnight. On October 21 yesterday, Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and Gu Hye Sun attended Kim Joon’s theatrical debut, “March of Youth,” last day. For a little over three months, Kim Joon has been out of the loop doing his best for this debut. And despite the fact of their busy schedule, Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and Gu Hye Sun made time to make a surprise visit. After the show is done, they went to meet Kim Joon at the hallway.

They stayed over for almost 2 hours, to encourage Kim Joon and surprising the concert audience, enough for people to them to see just how deep their friendships are with each other. The four people gathered around under one roof to support each other’s solo activities.

Kim Joon’s final message after he finished the show, “I’m very happy to be able to spend all these hours during the three months with my fans. Thank you so much for all the supports.”

Meanwhile, on October 23, Kim Joon and his fellow T-Max members will be touring around Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan for a visit to meet all of their fans.

Another awesome news for Alex’s & Gu Hye Sun’s fans!
I know Alex has built up his resume as both MC/show host and radio host, so this is a great one for him. Another one to be added on his ‘work experience’ ;) And this time, his partner is… “Boys Over Flowers” Geum Jandi, a.k.a Miss ever-so-talented Gu Hye Sun.

Alex & Gu Hye Sun are chosen to be the host of 5th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival

Singer-turned-actor “Romantic Guy” Alex and talented actress Gu Hye Sun have both been chosen to be the host for the opening ceremony of the 5th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (read more about it here)

Last month, JMFF secretariat held a press conference on July 14 at the Cultural Hall, Shinsegae dept. store, Seoul to announce that Alex & Gu Hye Sun will be this year’s hosts for the opening ceremony.

On the opening day, Aug 13, a list of classical musicians as well as other top orchestra musicians will be performing for the opening ceremony. “Price & Prejudice” will be screened as the opening film.

The 5th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival will be held for 6 days, from August 13 to August 18.

^Han Chae Young and Jin Goo have also been appointed to endorse and promote this year’s festival as ambassadors.

Gu Hye Sun, Learn to appreciate the Princess’ life for a day.

First half of this year, she has been the talk of all Korean news media and entertainment. All eyes were on her as she kicked off that Cinderella’s character in “Boys Over Flowers” as Geum Jandi. Now, few months later after the drama ended, Gu Hye Sun is selected as the model for young, casual brand, 숲 (Woods/Forest).

The shooting location took place in a ‘very famous hotel’ in Gangnam (elite area – imagine “Bel Air”, “Beverly Hills”). The shooting concept is titled “A Princess’ Day”

Gu Hye Sun and her lovely, attractive look of a princess pulled off this shooting without distractions. According to her, she was happy to be able to do this photo shoot as it’s quite rare for her to wear such pretty clothes. Gu Hye Sun, “I always wear casual clothes, so wearing these pretty dresses I have to change my attitude also.” A true remark from this young, talented model/actress/writer/artist. (Wow, she’s like errr MEGA talented star. Keke)

According to 숲 (Woods/Forest) reps, Gu Hye Sun’s image is what they’ve been waiting for. It was a pleasure for them to work with her, and praised her also as she was able to portray a variety of different sets of princess’ mood: arrogant, shy, charming, bright, etc, as they haven’t seen anyone like her in the past.
