33 Korean celebrities pose for InStyle pictorial “Hun Hun”, funds for Haiti disaster relief

Fashion magazine ‘InStyle’ put together a charity campaign “Help For Haiti” along with top stars and idol groups such as Kim Ji Soo, Kim Ji Seok, Nam Sang Mi, Han Ji Hye, Yoon Jung Hoon, Yoo Ji Tae, Ha Ji Won, Han Chae Young, Song Ji Hyo, Yoo Seon, Song Joong Ki, idol group SHINee and many more. These celebrities gathered together and finished the pictorial shooting yesterday, March 11.

These special pictorial aims for a fundraising pointed towards the Disaster Relief Fund for Haiti, along with InStyle magazine as sponsors and participating brands. ‘InStyle-Help For Haiti’, also celebrates the magazine 7 years establishment for the March edition. And on March 6, they’ve released an iPhone application through AppStore. “InStyle” readers can purchase pictures through the iPhone apps and the profits will go towards the “Help For Haiti” funding.

Here are some pictures from the charity event BH Entertainment artists held together for a fundraising. The proceeds and funds are going towards the children in need.

Actor Lee Byung Hun, Bae Soo Bin, Han Chae Young, Han Hyo Joo, Kim Min Hee, Jin Goo, Hong Ah Reum and other BH Entertainment artists gather for a pictorial for monthly fashion magazine, InStyle for December issue. This event is held to promote a fundraising for the children in need.

The theme for this “Instyle” fund-raiser party has set to project everyone’s unique charm and personality rather than their own appearance as stars. From ‘InStyle’ side, “BH Entertainment wants to participate in this charity to help others, and as Mr. Lee Byung Hun joined the event, the event got more special.

The proceeds of this pictorial will be donated for those children who have incurable illness but under a special financial problem to get a surgery done.

Lee Byung Hun also commented that they hardly got together as a family (under one agency), so he simply was glad to be a part of this special event. “I’m glad we got together and gathered in one place to do something good. We hope that these little children will be able to fight off their disease and get well.”

The photo shoot of these 12 actors, as well as 12 managers and 7assistants, plus around 15 people to do the make-up, hairstyling and clothing, adding up to about 65 staffs members to make this event possible.

She’s pretty busy these days, eh? After being on “Boys Over Flowers” earlier this year, her new movie “Good Morning, Mr. President” with Jang Dong Gun is currently at #1 Top Box Office.

Actress Han Chae Young has been chosen to advertise for a Chinese electronics brand. Her agency, BH Entertainment has confirmed it earlier on Friday that she has signed with China’s major electronics company, BBK, to promote its products.

BBK is one of the biggest companies in China’s electronics industry, who has hired famous celebrities including Chinese actors Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Steven Chow and Hallyu star Song Hye Gyo.

An official at BH Entertainment also explained further that Han Chae Young hasn’t really worked much in there, but her popularity in China is rising rapidly due to her hit drama “Delightful Girl Chun Hyang”. It got high ratings when it was airing in China, so now she’s getting a lot of attention as a new Hallyu star.

Han’s new movie “Girlfriends” will be out sometime around Christmas this year.

“Good Morning, Mr. President” seems to be the “in” thing right now in South Korea’s theaters. And who am I kidding, it’s JANG DONG GUN!! :) More powwaaaah! ;) So can’t wait to see the movie myself, sigh.

“Good Morning, Mr. President” is set to breach its 1 million mark

Hallyu star Jang Dong Gun’s new movie seems to be set to breach the one million mark just six days into its release. According to estimates released by Korea Box Office Information System (KOBIS) on Tuesday, the movie has accumulated 902,817 viewers by 5 a.m. since its release on October 22.

The movie had topped the box office over last weekend, with 706,409 viewers and a total 816,565 viewers — meaning that it attracts an average 100,000 viewers DAILY on weekdays and would most likely surpass the one million mark on Tuesday.

It is a movie about the the life of three different presidents, and it is Jang Dong Gun’s first box office hit in nearly four years, after starring in “Typhoon” (2005).

Veteran actors Lee Sun Jae and Go Du Shim also (pictured in above poster) also star in this movie, which opened the 14th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) held earlier this month.

I mean, black… all black. Everyone seems to be wearing black this month, starting from all the “IRIS” cast for their ‘official’ press conference, and now, the black attendees for PIFF (Pusan International Film Festival) 14th. I love black too, but this is really something else. Black is the new Fall color? Grim is the way to go? lol… dunno~ but everyone would look good in black, no matter what.

Even Kang Ji Hwan, with his black hat, sunglasses and, is that an ipod? :)
