Actress Han Hye-jin is to return after a year of absence and SBS drama “Jejoongwon”.

She notified her comeback with the new Wednesday Thursday KBS 2TV drama “The Thorn Bush Bird”, first broadcasting on the 23rd of February.

“The Thorn Bush Bird” is about two women who go to extreme measures to fulfill their desires and Han Hye-jin will be playing Suh Jeong-eun who has to suffer all the sacrifices in her life. She is the same kind of woman as The Thorn Bush Bird, which is known to throw its body into the sharpest thorn to make the most beautiful sound in the world.

Han Hye-jin in the drama is a woman of passion who lives her life to the fullest although she grew up in an orphanage, not knowing who her parents were and believes she will find her birth mother when she becomes a star.

To Han Hye-jin, the role of Suh Jeong-eun in “The Thorn Bush Bird” is like the filmography that contains all of her past. She will show the same strong woman image as she did in the 2005 drama “Be Strong, Geum-Soon!” that put her in stardom, and 2007 drama “Jumong”.

Procuction company GNG Productions revealed, “I am sure Han Hye-jin will be able to play out this role as she is very healthy and elegant. She is going to mesmerize the viewers with her more mature acting and her ability to be honest”.

Meanwhile, “The Thorn Bush Bird” is looked forward to as it is going to be project done by script writer Lee Seon-hee and ‘viewer rating’ machine producer Kim Jong-chang.

Looks like the actress really enjoys her shooting for “Jejoongwon”. She’s been playing around with camera a lot, and being a little ‘paparazzi’, says the news media.

Actress Han Hye Jin likes to take pictures of her co-stars on the set of “Jejoongwon”, the sageuk medical drama still airing on SBS every Mondays and Tuesdays.

She goes around and takes cute pictures of others and even herself, while still wearing the traditional costumes as “Seok Ran”, and then she shares those pictures through her personal blog.

Meanwhile, the drama itself has been maintaining its ratings in the mid-10% every week.

If you love sageuk (historical drama) and plus medical drama, this one is a combination of both. Quite interesting I must say. Nothing compared like the modern day ER, so it’s amusing :P Han Hye Jin speaks a bit of English in here, since her character is supposed to be the ’smart cookie’ one in the drama.

I’ve been watching her 2005 famous drama, “Be Strong Geum Soon”, and it’s nice to read a recent news about her. She also has a new drama coming up in January, a sageuk medical drama~

Han Hye Jin, “If I’m getting married, of course it’ll be to Naul…”

They’ve been dating since 2004, and seems pretty open about it. Her boyfriend is none other than the amazing vocalist from duo-group “Brown Eyes”, Naul. Though he’s currently enlist in the army, and Han Hye Jin has been working on her new drama, this is the first time she opened her mouth to talk about marriage. “If I’m getting married, of course it’ll be to Naul. But since I’ve been busy working, I don’t think the time is right,” she said.

In a media interview on the 15th, Han Hye Jin mentioned that she has been dating Naul for 5 years, and that is a long time not to think about the next step. So of course, it’ll be to Naul if I’d to get married.”

The couple revealed their relationship back in 2004, and had made public appearance ever since. Han Hye Jin,” I’m thankful our fans are supportive of us.”

Naul will be discharged this coming January, and that has brought more attention to their relationship. But according to Han Hye Jin, “I’ve been busy acting, so for now there’s no plan to get married yet.”
