I’m rather speechless. In a baddddd way.
Well I guess, to be honest, she can’t sing. Not the way a singer should sing. But she does have a hot body, exotic face and gorgeous hair. Oh, and plus, she seems to be a really cool person to hang out with. Just ask Junjin or Ryu Si Won. Or even her shillang, Kim Hyun Joong. He can definitely tell you more about his Buin ;) ^^

Oh~ my other fave celeb-couple, Shin Ae Ra & Cha In Pyo (who looks stunning as he’s aging lol). They both have always been so busy doing anything social, especially for the children in need. This time, they both participated in the 2009 Friends of Compassion “You are alone” sponsor event along with fellow artists such as Lee Yoon Mi, Hwangbo, Ju Young Hun, fellow child actors whom you’ve probably seen before.

Yesterday, the 2009 Friends of Compassion children charity event is held in Seoul’s Art Hall 7, Gwanghwamun. “Friends of Compassion” was originally sponsored by a pastor from U.S. in 1952. He first started the International Organization after the war in Korea, until around 1993. Raising a total of 10 million children who have lived through the hardships. And since 2003, the organization grew larger to help aid about 60,000 people around the 25 countries around Asia, such as Haiti, Bangladesh, Thailand, Korea, and Africa.

They held a painting exhibition event, which attended by Compassion supporters, which include a fashion show, and band performances. Shin Ae Ra is the appointed ambassador for the 2009 Friends of Compassion in which her husband accompanied her, as well as her fellow artists and celebrities. They have been the proud sponsor parent of 33 children of the world since June 2003.

Gosh, how I miss “We Got Married” Hwangbo & Hyun Joong~

Hwangbo calls it ‘impressive’

Singer Hwangbo visited the Philippines to shoot for her MBC “무한걸스” variety show, and was very impressed with the over-crowded fans at the airport. On May 16, the crew arrived in Philippines to shoot for one of their episodes. Hwangbo arrived late at night (local time), and she was shocked to see all her fans waiting for her outside the gate.

Her Philippines fans waited for Hwangbo, and then she took pictures with them and had a lot of fun. According to her fans, they’ve loved Hwangbo ever since “We Got Married”.

Hwangbo expressed, “I didn’t expect to see so many people waiting for me at the airport,” and “I’m very impressed with the love and support they’ve given me. I’d love to come back next time and spend some quality time with them.”

From the recent news, an interview with “We Got Married” staff, it is reported that originally they picked these two wonderful 4-dimensional people, Kim Hyun Joong and Hwayobi as a couple.  (LOL ZOMG! Hahahaha I can’t imagine how it’d work out. Thinking about it makes me very giddy. But nonetheless, I’m glad they didn’t go with the plan.  Hwayobi is much better with Hwanhee, as they can make a HWANYOBI out of them *grin* and Hyun Joong couldn’t been better with his Hwang Buin, Hwangbo, right?)

Based on their popularity right now, who would’ve thought that they were both picked to be a couple way before there was JoongBo, or HwanYobi for that matter.  The crew of WGM said that, “as the couple appeared to be very compatible in term of their personality, we thought if two people with such similarities are put together, they can make such an outstanding couple.”  But then in the end, Kim Hyun Joong decided to join the ‘partnership’ with his Hwang Buin, Hwangbo.  He also expressed his belated satisfaction to the staff about his pair-up with Hwangbo.

(*cough*yay!*cough* haha, they’re so cute together, I don’t even want to change a single thing. Kudos to whoever do the casting of WGM couples as they did such a great job match-making these individuals. ㅋㅋㅋ)

Though I’m not a big fan of this “We Got Married” weekend show on MBC, and hardly watch it every week after Alex and Shin Ae left the show last month, Hyun Joong and Hwangbo are starting to catch my attention now. Especially after watching the clip on how they first met (on the episode after Alex & Shin Ae’s exit, this two replaced them on the spot). Though Hwangbo and Hyun Joong are the noona-dongsaeng couple (Hwangbo is 6 years older than him), despite of their age differences, to me they’re the most handsome couple in the show. Hehe…

OK, just a little background about this ‘reality’ show, each couple is paired up by the producer, and they act like a married-couple on-screen And like the rest of them on the show, Hwangbo and Hyun Joong also got their own place to live as a married couple. I searched for pictures, and found some images of their new home instead. So gorgeous.

And found the clip of when they first moved in and Hyun Joong played on the piano (he seems to have a special gift in playing the instruments.. piano and guitar, and his singing voice is not bad either)

Episode 12 is indeed a special one as they have a house-warming party and invited some guests. So for this episode, we got a special visit of SS501, the group Hyun Joong is in. The boys were happy to be able to visit their hyung and so they got a special invite to view the master bedroom, hehe… Hyun Joong got teased by them, and SS501 called Hwangbo “Hyungsoo” (sister-in-law). Haha..

And after eating, Hyun Joong told his guests that he has a special performance for his wife. A special song… which accompanied by his SS501 bros… which made Hwangbo flattered and she was so shy… hahaha so adorable~

As I can’t wait to see Alex and Shin Ae again next week, I think Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo are the other reason of why I’m still watching this silly show. Keke. And despite all the talk about how awkward these two are on screen, and how Hyun Joong seems to act more childish, I think to me it’s okay to be awkward and childish. Especially when this show is reported to be a non-scripted show, and considering the big gap in their 6 years age-differences, I don’t mind. Hyun Joong seems quite genuine enough to understand that even though this is a make-belief show, viewers expect them to act like a real married couple at some point. And I’m glad they have this scene, as to showcase the singing talent that SS501 actually have (that I haven’t noticed until I watched this show hehe). I’m a big fan of good, harmonize vocals, especially when they do it live and on the spot. Just like how Alex sang “Flower pot” for Shin Ae at their last episode a month ago. Oh speaking of them, they’re coming back next week, episode 13! Whoo-hoo! And it’s confirmed! Can’t wait~
