Actress Kim Hyun Joo showcased her new book and handmade crafts at a mini-concert/showcase located near Hongik University in Seoul, Rolling Hall.

She met with her fans and about 200 readers, communicating with them about her new sewing book. She even gave a surprise dance performance and attracted everyone’s attention.

Nowadays everyone seems to have their own book. Gu Hye Sun, Horan, Alex, Tablo, Cha In Pyo, Bae Doona, and now, Kim Hyun Joo with her knitting/sewing book hehe!

On December 24, around 2:00 p.m. actress Kim Hyun Joo held a book-signing event to promote her new book, ‘현주의 손으로 짓는 이야기’ (Kim Hyun Joo’s hand-crafted story)

This book is a compilation of her craftwork, photos, blends with stories of her own through her experiences in sewing, stitching, knitting in the last 10 years she’s been doing as a hobby. There are also pictures of her creations, such as fabric bags, pouches, slippers and other crafty work she has done so far.

In her book, she told her story of how she created these items as a hobby, and how she made her own pouches, aprons, scarves and several other handmade items. Through her book, she’d like to share her hobby as she wrote the book, telling her stories and sharing to everyone the how-to make some of these precious handmade items.

This girl is full of surprises. But I guess you can get creative when the holiday festive is surround you. I’d love to see her book someday~

Kim Hyun Joo to publish a surprise book in December

Actress Kim Hyun Joo has unveiled her hidden talent in sewing. Last month, in an interview at a cafe in Hongdae, they took pictures of her fabric pouches, aprons and scarves that she made as a hobby. Then through a recent interview, she said that in the last 3-4 years of her 10 years debut, she developed another hobby… which is sewing and crochet.

According to her, 3-4 years ago, it was kinda hard for her to find a place to learn more about sewing and embroidery. There weren’t a lot of books to self-taught until she can draw a simple drawing to create some artwork herself through sewing.

She was working as the ambassador for the New York Museum of Natural History, promoting the “I LOVE Earth” compaign before she went on her Canada trip for the eco-lifestyle promo. According to her, as a hobby, she made some homemade fabric, eco-friendly bags, instead of plastic bags, and it won’t be difficult to make table mat and such.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joo’s pictorial book of her arts & crafty including any sewing needlework plus other eco-friendly crafty stuffs and essays will be compiled together and published as a book. It’ll be available for purchase somewhere in mid-December.

Actress Kim Hyun Joo spent a few days in Canada for a special pictorial show, ‘Eco-Trip’. She traveled through Vancouver, Whislter, Victoria Island, Echo Bay, and basically spent her days in Canada.

Through nature and urban living, her special trip will be shown tonight on MBC Life1 at 11pm.

But,… but… they do look good together, don’t they? :)

Lots of rumors going on today. First it was about Hyun Bin and his new lady love, Song Hye Kyo. Now, on the flip side, there are some rumors going on about the two leading actors from “Partner”, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hyun Joo.

When they both were asked about their off-screen relationship, the two of them just smiled and laughed. No, they are not a couple (not yet?). Though it is undeniable that their chemistry on screen is super fun! According to Lee Dong Wook, because of Kim Hyun Joo’s fun personality, the two of them get along just fine, and the atmosphere during the shooting is always fun. Kim Hyun Joo also told the press that their chemistry is working well because they have fun together for the drama. It’s all for the drama.

Yeeeeah. I guess when the chemistry is good, people would just looooove to hook them up together. lolz.
