T-Max Kim Joon and his group have enjoyed their popularity ever since the ever popular MBC idol drama, “Boys Over Flowers”. Brokore is a pretty famous Japanese magazine who have been featuring Hallyu stars, such as Bae Yong Joon, So Ji Sub and Lee Byung Hun.

Kim Joon is picked as Brokore’s cover for next month’s edition

Japanese magazine Brokore has picked the F4 member, Kim Joon as their December special cover boy. Featuring also T-Max team members, Shin Min Chul, Park Yun Hwa and Kim Joon himself with their very own special interview. After “Boys Over Flowers”, Kim Joon and his T-Max members have enjoyed tremendous love and support from their fans, which including their Japanese fans also.

Recently, the group has made their way up in Japan with their hit single from “Boys Over Flowers” OST “Paradise”, though the hit single from its original version, sung by SMAP “Lion Heart” was also very popular before.

In their interview with Brokore, T-Max members exposed their actual role model and their own dreams for each other as a group. Kim Joon’s dreams for Shin Min Chul was, “I wish him to meet up with a sweet, sexy, tall girl, and have the sweetest love story…” and as for Park Yun Hwa, he said he doesn’t have a specific dream for him as Park seems to be pretty aggressive (with girls). (lol?)

According to T-Max management, when they saw Kim Joon’s cover magazine photo with his big eyes, sharp note and lips with such an exquisite charm, they’re very excited to see the result. And as for the whole group, they’re hoping to gain more exposure with the fans in Japan, through interview and pictorial of T-Max in Brokore.

T-Max has planned their special Christmas concert in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan on December 22 and 23.

After months of “Boys Over Flowers” craziness died down a bit, they made an appearance together again to support Kim Joon’s musical debut. But where is Jihoo sunbae?

“Boys Over Flowers” F4 members come to support Kim Joon

On October 21 yesterday, Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and Gu Hye Sun attended Kim Joon’s theatrical debut, “March of Youth,” last day. For a little over three months, Kim Joon has been out of the loop doing his best for this debut. And despite the fact of their busy schedule, Lee Min Ho, Kim Bum and Gu Hye Sun made time to make a surprise visit. After the show is done, they went to meet Kim Joon at the hallway.

They stayed over for almost 2 hours, to encourage Kim Joon and surprising the concert audience, enough for people to them to see just how deep their friendships are with each other. The four people gathered around under one roof to support each other’s solo activities.

Kim Joon’s final message after he finished the show, “I’m very happy to be able to spend all these hours during the three months with my fans. Thank you so much for all the supports.”

Meanwhile, on October 23, Kim Joon and his fellow T-Max members will be touring around Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan for a visit to meet all of their fans.

Have you heard his new solo yet? The songs are quite solid somewhat, which came as a surprise to my ears. Been a bit skeptical of T-Max ever since I heard them singing live (in some music show, can’t remember which one). But yeah, Kim Joon’s track is pretty catchy and upbeat. But I like track 2 also. Shin Min Chul’s voice sounds matured, and looks like they’ve been preparing for this ‘comeback’ single collection (total of 3 songs).

Kim Jun Gearing Up for Solo Debut

Kim Jun, a member of music band T-Max and F4 of drama “Boys over Flowers,” is getting ready for the release of his first single, “Ready OK.” Fans are already going wild over the music video trailer of “Ready OK,” which was released earlier this week on online portal sites. Kim’s single collection album will go on sale on July 9th.

Instead of the gentle image he had in the hit drama “Boys over Flowers,” Kim shows off his tough masculine side with powerful dance and rap. Making the music video even hotter is the guest appearance of Kim Hyun-joong, who co-starred in “Boys over Flowers” as sensitive Yoon Ji-hoo.

Kim’s first solo piece “Ready OK” features his exceptional rap skills and attractive voice, as well as his potential as a lyric writer, which was put to good use in “Ready OK.”

“Boys Over Flowers” Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon appear on W Korea, the leading fashion magazine in Korea for the June issue. This fashion pictorial shot is taken as a part of their new CF for Anycall Haptic Mission.

The photographer in charge, Jo Seun Hui said that Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon both have heavy schedule and were very tired. But even so, the shooting went along smoothly. The fashion editor, Choi Seo Yeon conducted the photoshoot for “W Korea”, and said that both actors were so immersed in the concept. “And they ask me to let them know once the pictorial album has come out.”

This video of Lee Min Ho and Kim Joon’s W pictorial album photoshoot can be found online on May 28 at W Korea’s official site (www.wkorea.com). Meanwhile, Mnet will also release “Haptic Mission Season 2″ on the same day.

Even though it’s not a surprise anymore, what drama caused this much hype before? I didn’t think “Goong” OST was like this, nor “My Girl” OST. So, it’s definitely a different ‘era’ with “Boys Over Flowers”. Especially when the drama has like what… 4 versions? How many “Special Edition”? ^_^ I lost count already…

“Lee Min Ho sings…. ” F4 Special Album sold out 3 millions pre-orders

“Boys Over Flowers” Special Album OST featuring F4 Lee Min Ho-Kim Hyun Joong-Kim Bum-Kim Joon is expected to cause another ‘fever’ for the music industry. As this album will be the F4 ‘reunion’ album, the response is getting intense. About 3 million copies are pre-ordered already, and it proves just how much the drama is still high in demand.

For the special album, each members of F4 participates in the album. Each of them introduced their own song, including the F4 leader, Lee Min Ho with his single, “My Everything”. Even though most of them are not singers, but the fans have been praising their singing skills, especially Lee Min Ho and Kim Bum. For the album itself, there’ll be a pictorial featuring F4, holding flowers, smiling to the Polaroid while holding a package as a bonus for their fans.

“Boys Over Flowers” OST Volume 1 and 2 have sold around 10 million copies, plus a big 3 million copies pre-ordered for this F4 Special Edition OST. They say that the number will definitely jump higher for the Special Edition. (Of course, who wouldn’t want to ‘own’ Lee Min Ho’s song in its original package plus bonus? Never underestimate the power of “Boys Over Flowers” ^_^)
