When an artist has his/her new album came out, sometimes I found myself more excited to see their live performance on music shows rather than the album itself. Why? Because singing live on stage can determine if the singer is indeed a singer or not.

So this time, I’m excited to see three talented singers, Hwayobi, Lyn and Jisun on the next upcoming episode of SBS Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate. Wooot!

The episode will air this Wednesday, Feb 18 at midnight.

Wow. I know K.Will is a great singer, and he can definitely rock any song (since he usually tests the song first before the songwriter finds the ‘original’ singer), last night on Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate Episode 42, he amazed me once again. Why is it that his own version of “Nobody” sounds SO much better than the real one? *goosebumps*

Definitely a great performance all around, and I gotta thank Kim Jung Eun for inviting this humble, BigBang’s Daesung’s look-alike, underrated singer to perform in last night’s Chocolate. The show airs on SBS every Wednesday nights.

Omona sesange….  I can’t believe this news.

Lee Seo Jin and Kim Jung Eun have officially called it quit since end of October last month.

He initiated the break-up over a phone call, almost a month ago, according to Kim Jung Eun’s press interview today, November 22.  She couldn’t lie to the fans anymore and so she finally told the press about it.  Their love story started during the filming of SBS Lovers two years ago, but only started dating publicly around early 2007.

I absolutely LOVED the drama, and remember I was sooo thrilled about them dating for real. Sigh. I guess it’s hard if his mom is already opposed to the relationship. And Lee Seo Jin dated Lee Hyori before Kim Jung Eun, and broke up with her because of his mother also.  I guess he has some issues to straighten out and it’s just sad and sucks to be in Kim Jung Eun’s shoes at this point. They were both so in love with each other, and had to break up like this? Sigh. What a life.  Sad… indeed.

This week on Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate, airing on Wednesday night (November 5) had a pretty good line-up guests: Wonder Girls, Song Chang Eui (SBS “Golden Bride”, SBS “Scales of Providence”) and V.O.S.

First guest:

Wonder Girls – first performance was kinda “WTH?” one, but I like their last perf. (“Nobody” Rainstone Remix’s dance routine is kinda cool. The girls did a great job overall, and I still find the song catchy. JYP did a great one composing this one.)

Second guest:

Song Chang Eui – Ahhh, long time no see! I miss him since “Golden Bride” ended. Didn’t watch “Scales of Providence” though I heard it’s pretty good. And though I knew he has a background in music, and he can sing, he proved it once again through his vocal. Again, first song was bleh~, last song = awesome. Well at least he can sing better than Kim Jung Eun’s used-to-be-hot bf. (Lee Seo Jin is kinda eeeh~ after Yisan ended lol. Though I still love Kang Jae – SBS “Lovers”, his and Kim Jung Eun’s cupid drama lol)

Third guest:

V.O.S. - Er, I don’t know why they did Backstreet Boys’ song for their entrance song. “As long as you love me” is not exactly in their league, but well, they didn’t really butcher it that much though.  Their English is quite decent too.  But yeah, don’t really find their performance ‘Wow’ except when they did that accapella of “Noona is pretty” (SHINee’s song). Oh, and I love that on-the-spot skid hahaha it’s like listening to them on the radio.

Clazziquai Horan & Alex’s thick friendships attract public’s interests

In the talk segment of SBS “Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate”, Horan and Alex appear together on the show. Alex performed two songs, “If it were you” and “Isn’t she lovely?” (Stevie Wonder) to congratulate one of the newlywed couples on the show. Later on after the interview with Horan and her Ibadi, they both performed “Lover Boy” on stage as a surprise to the audience.

After the various events that happened for Shinae on the WGM show, Alex who has introduced a lot of love for former girlfriend already had a material event, saying the public was a surprise.

Alex is “a boyfriend who have done a material event for his girlfriend before. The man was so inspiring. What he did wasn’t expensive, but it was absolutely thoughtful. He went shopping and bought six presents already. In the morning, he gave her flowers, treating her to lunch, then dinner, and went to watch movies… and he prepared another gift as the night ended. I like this best one in front of his house, “I’ll do whatever she wants me to do to give a lot,” as Horan told this, many women in the audience applause and cheers for Alex.

Horan said, “Alex is so popular these days, as many colleagues also said so, and frankly I feel a bit jealous of him…” (laughs) “But I’d like to see this with a positive eye, and to see if his popularity will go far…” MC Kim Jung Eun replied, “How cute… I’d like to see that too…” (laughs)

Alex’s image known to the public, especially in Horan’s image to disclose any other entity have attracted attention. Horan said, “Alex has been a sweet image of a man in love… but in fact to me, as as the rise in housing prices have taken these days, he could definitely use some help to boost up his financial status, ” as she told this jokingly with laughters.

Meanwhile, Horan’s group, Ibadi and its members were also present in last night’s Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate. Ibadi’s newest album, “The Story of Earth” will be coming up soon.
