Wow, seems like people in Korea really have a thing for Han Ji Min. Maybe she’s like a magnet to all these gossips and rumors, especially when it comes to dating and getting married lol.

So Ji Sub & Han Ji Min Getting Married? “Unbelievably not worth to comment on”

Both sides have denied the rumors, and So Ji Sub’s side has decided not to make it a big deal. They’re simply dumbfounded without anything to comment on. Yeah, shocking as it is, people thought absurb stuffs when they feel like it.

On December 11 the rumors spread out that they both are planning to get married this month. According to the rumors, after the two of them worked together in SBS drama ‘Cain & Abel’, they both met again at a wedding. And now apparently they’re currently dating and planning to get married around this month.

Two sides have spoken out that rumors are not as outrageous, but completely unbelievable and not even worth to answer/comment on. Just recently, So Ji Sub received the “2009 Best Male Performer” award from Seoul Broadcasting, and some reporters were asking him about the rumors and his relationship with Han Ji Min. And according to So Ji Sub’s side, he preferred to be silent in regards to this marriage rumors, since it’s utterly ridiculous.

Some of his fans even got jealous and shocked about the rumors. I guess when it is something this huge, especially about getting married this quickly, there’s no easy way to tackle the situation rather than to move on and ignore false accusations. Way to go, So Ji Sub!

Yes! This is a great casting news!! :)  I can just imagine… hottie guy and gorgeous gal combo: SO JI SUB, and Kim Ha Neul… together they’ll rock ROAD No.1 ^_^

This is such a happy news for both the drama AND the fans. And if you’re like me, I’ve been waiting for So Ji Sub to come up on TV with someone…. compatible, like Kim Ha Neul. He’s hot, I get it, but it’ll be better to see him next to someone like Kim Ha Neul.

If at first I was kinda disappointed to see that “Will it snow for Christmas?” produced by the same director/writer combo for “I’m sorry I love you” and “What happened in Bali” couldn’t cast So Ji Sub, but now it’s all better. Kim Ha Neul is on board, and the drama itself will aim to air next summer. (Whaaat’. I know, I know… till long months to go, but it’ll be totally worth it.)

Kim Ha Neul is scheduled to comeback on TV and participates in MBC 60th Anniversary of Korean War – special magnum series, “Road No. 1″ (directed by Lee Jang Soo-Kim Jin Min; with Han Ji Hoon as the scriptwriter).

According to Kim Ha Neul, her character will appear as this strong, influential heroine. And according to the production company, Logos film, they’re very positive in casting Kim Ha Neul. From her side also has confirmed positively that Kim Ha Neul has been preparing for the role as she finds it very interesting.

“Road No.1″ will have a backdrop of Korean war 60 years ago, picturing strong promises of love and friendship, intending to impress its viewers with something so epic. What is it like to be destined to love one man, but through wounds and sacrifices, fate leads to another era beyond what the eyes have seen. They have also confirmed the male lead to be cast by So Ji Sub, which told that he fits the character beautifully.

Director Lee Jang Soo was the PD of “Stairway to Heaven”, and “the Sweet Life”, as well as “Time of Dog and Wolf”. While PD Kim Jin Min was responsible for co-directing the drama as he directed the mega-movie “Taekgukgi). The production has planned out their schedule between January-May 2010 and aiming for June next year broadcasting.

A Peek Inside Celebrity Homes

Ever wonder where mega-watt celebrities unwind at the end of their glamorous days? Home ― just like any other ordinary person ― but what they call home is anything but ordinary.

The limited area in downtown Seoul may not allow Korean stars to dwell in huge Hollywood-esque mansions that span out for acres, but the celebs are still rich enough to own the crowded capital’s best and most expensive street addresses.

Former wrestling champion and popular television host Kang Ho-dong, for example, lives in a fully remodeled 280-square-meter apartment in one of the most posh districts in Seoul, featuring three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The Apgujeong-dong property is currently worth 3.5 billion won ($2.9 million), according to local real estate agents. Down the street from Kang’s house is another luxury district, Chungdam-dong, where dozens of singers and movie stars reside. Singer, artist and writer Cho Young-nam’s massive 618-square-meter villa has long been famous as one of the country’s unbeatable star homes.

The Sangji Ritzville, a top villa brand, overlooking the Han River and the Youngdong Bridge from the southern side, was most recently officially listed at some 4 billion won, but realtors say the property is actually worth more than 6 billion won. “Buyers are lucky if they even see a unit up for sale,” said an area property agent, who labels the luxury building as one of the most exclusive homes, rarely coming out on the market.

Another top-flight villa in Chungdam-dong is where top actress Jeon Do-yeon calls home, just minutes away from Cho’s residence. The almost 300-square-meter uber-luxury villa, which offers only six units, is known to ensure its residents with the best security system.

Most recently listed for 3 billion won, the villa is home to some of the country’s top businessmen and politicians, according to realtors. Some of Jeon’s Chungdam-dong neighbors include actresses Kim Hee-sun, Ko Hyun-jung and Ko So-young, and actors Kim Min-jong and Hwang Jung-min.

The third town, which completes the so-called celebrity Gangnam belt, is Samsung-dong. The southern Seoul district recently got a status upgrade when celebrity couple Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young was revealed to be living in I-Park, the most expensive property in South Korea, according to 2008 government data.

A 195-square-meter apartment was purchased for 5.7 billion won by an unknown buyer last year, making the high-rise home the most expensive apartment in town. Although the newlywed couple makes top money, Kwon and Son are reportedly living in a rented unit costing at least 1.3 billion won in “jeonse” ― a lump sum, long-term deposit on a rental space.

“The price shows that this is no ordinary rented property,” says a broker who specializes in I-Park. He explained that it is being increasingly sought by celebrities because of its top security standards and privacy.

Actresses Jeon Ji-hyun and Lee Mi-yeon, and actor Son Chang-min are among some of the well-known star residents of I-Park, he said.

Besides the Gangnam areas, Bangbae-dong, Seocho-dong, Hannam-dong and Ichon-dong have traditionally been popular residential districts among local celebrities. But the fast-emerging favorite pick is Banpo ― more specifically, the newly built Banpo Xi apartments.

The state-of-the-art complex, which includes a fitness center and spa, is home to heartthrobs Song Seung-heon and So Ji-sub, and dozens of other middle-aged celebrities, according to real estate agents.

“The influx of celebrity neighbors boosted the apartment’s promotion,” said a realtor, who explained, however, that many residents don’t enjoy having a star neighbor. “They don’t want their privacy getting interrupted by fans.”

They should’ve really picked a better (and hotter) picture of him for the “After” methinks.  I mean, look at him *points to right picture* he doesn’t even look at the camera, but So Ji Sub is still So Ji Sub =) the talented one with such a humble attitude towards his fans. So Ji Sub – Before & After

According to Sports Chosen’s article, actor So Ji Sub (32) started his career back then in 1995 as a catalog model.  Then he got his first movie debut in 2002, “Can’t live without robbery”, in which he had the opportunity to show a different side of him as an actor. He totally nailed this movie with flying colors.

In 2004, he had two hit dramas, first with “What happened in Bali”, and of course, who would forget the amazing “I’m sorry I love you” (Mianhanda Saranghanda/MiSa) that hit the jackpot right before he had to leave for his military service.  Upon returning back to the ‘glamour’ life, he has done one short music drama “U-Turn” and a blockbuster movie, “Rough Cut” (2008) with Kang Ji Hwan.  Unfortunately, his comeback drama, “Cain & Abel” (2009) didn’t go too well in ratings but his acting is still stronger than ever.

This is going to be a Summer (chick-flick) movie on my watch-list! :) So Ji Sub and Zhang Ziyi~ how are they going to converse with each other? In English? Kongnese? Half and half? o_O Sign-language? o_O Interesting….

So Ji Sub & Zhang Ziyi’s “Sophie’s Dating Manual” will be released in August

A new movie, “Sophie’s Dating Manual” starring the Korean hunk garfield eyes So Ji Sub and Zhang Ziyi has collected high expectations with its name change from “Sophie’s Revenge”. The final release will be on August.

“Sophie’s Dating Manual” has been sold to 6 different Asian countries for this romantic comedy movie. For Korea and China, these two countries are under discussion to release the movie in August.

Fan Bing Bing, Zhang Ziyi and So Ji Sub will be entangled in a love triangle. The pretty and popular actress, Anna (Fan Bing Bing), has a finance, Jeff (So Ji Sub), whose smitten by Sophie (Zhang Ziyi). This movie is Zhang Ziyi’s first romantic comedy, as she has participated in a high-profile, more to thriller/action kind of movies. Her transformation and comedic acting will be a surprise to her fans in “Sophie’s Dating Manual”

Zhang Ziyi’s rival, Fan Bing Bing will play as So Ji Sub’s fiancee, whose also has made the news headlines today. People in China, HK and Taiwan are waiting to see their #1 Zhang Ziyi and the #2 Fan Bing Bing in the same movie. In the recent interview, Zhang Ziyi expressed, “So Ji Sub has a really nice body.” (lol?) As for South Korea, fans are waiting for more So Ji Sub, especially after he finished his SBS drama, “Cain and Abel”.

“Sophie’s Dating Manual” will be released first in Shanghai, China on June 14. The three leads, Zhang Ziyi, So Ji Sub and Fan Bing Bing will be attending the red carpet ceremony at the 12th Shanghai’s International Film Festival on June 13.
