Her newest project will be directed by the “Aircity” PD & Writer, Kim Jong Chang and Lee Seon Hee. Yikes. Dunno if this is good news or not since the only thing that made me watched Aircity was Lee Jung Jae…

Synopsis:
“The Thorn bush Bird” is about two women who go to extreme measures to fulfill their desires and Han Hye-jin will be playing Seo Jeong-eun who has to suffer all the sacrifices in her life. She is the same kind of woman as the thorn bush bird, which is known to throw its body into the sharpest thorn to make the most beautiful sound in the world.

This will be Han Hyo Joo’s newest work after she finished “Jejungwon”

Actress Han Hye-jin is to return after a year of absence and SBS drama “Jejoongwon”.

She notified her comeback with the new Wednesday Thursday KBS 2TV drama “The Thorn Bush Bird”, first broadcasting on the 23rd of February.

“The Thorn Bush Bird” is about two women who go to extreme measures to fulfill their desires and Han Hye-jin will be playing Suh Jeong-eun who has to suffer all the sacrifices in her life. She is the same kind of woman as The Thorn Bush Bird, which is known to throw its body into the sharpest thorn to make the most beautiful sound in the world.

Han Hye-jin in the drama is a woman of passion who lives her life to the fullest although she grew up in an orphanage, not knowing who her parents were and believes she will find her birth mother when she becomes a star.

To Han Hye-jin, the role of Suh Jeong-eun in “The Thorn Bush Bird” is like the filmography that contains all of her past. She will show the same strong woman image as she did in the 2005 drama “Be Strong, Geum-Soon!” that put her in stardom, and 2007 drama “Jumong”.

Procuction company GNG Productions revealed, “I am sure Han Hye-jin will be able to play out this role as she is very healthy and elegant. She is going to mesmerize the viewers with her more mature acting and her ability to be honest”.

Meanwhile, “The Thorn Bush Bird” is looked forward to as it is going to be project done by script writer Lee Seon-hee and ‘viewer rating’ machine producer Kim Jong-chang.

Yes!! She was so good at being one in IRIS, and I’m glad she decided to join the cast of Athena at the last minute.

“IRIS” actress Kim So Yeon will reprise her role of Kim Sun Hwa for the drama’s spinoff series, “Athena“.

Kim Sun Hwa, a North Korean operative who always completes her missions, will return for a major plot twist in the story. Interestingly, it’s said that the audience will see a dramatically transformed Kim Sun Hwa.

Kim So Yeon will be joining the “Athena” cast in New Zealand as soon as her filming for “Doctor Champ” wraps up around the end of November.

“Athena” is set to debut in December through SBS.

Alex’s newest project, KBS2 daily drama “Smile, Dong Hae” starts Oct 4! ;)

Are you girls (and guys) ready to see Alex e.v.e.r.y.d.a.y of the week? :) Well, Monday through Friday… yup, on KBS2, around 8:25pm – starting this coming Monday, October 4. From what I gathered so far, it seems like his role here in this daily drama will be pretty opposite than the one from Pasta, so it’ll be quite interesting how he’d pull it of.

Also, if I’m not mistaken, KBS World will have this up the following month after they’ve finished with the currently airing drama, “Happiness in the wind”.

Luna & Krystal “Hard to love” (Invincible Lee Pyung Kang OST)

Whoa. HORAN!! :) I was so psyched to read the news. It’s about time to see her in a drama, which I’m sure it’ll be great. Yippeeeees….

Clazziquai Horan to star in a new drama

According to Fluxus, Horan has been cast to play in KBS2 new romantic-comedy drama, “국가가 부른다” (My Country Calls), written by “Tamra the Island” writer, Choi Yi Rang, and Lee Jin Mae (I Am Sam) and directed by PD Kim Jung Gyu (Immortal Lee Soon-shin, I Am Sam). Along with her, “My Country Calls” will be starring Lee Soo Kyung, Kim Sang Kyung and Ryu Jin.

In the drama, Horan will be acting as Choi Eun Soo, an intelligent agent who’s confident, smart and beautiful. She has the look, the appeal and the first love who can’t forget her. She’s the daughter all mothers want to love. Choi Eun Soo is the first love of Kim Sang Kyung’s character, who apparently still carrying the torch for her. This will lead a triangle setup between her and Lee Soo Kyung’s character as the main female lead. Ryu Jin’s character seems to have a love interest with Lee Soo Kyung also, but I hope Horan will get her man somehow :P

Horan is so thrilled and excited to this new challenge. “It’s an honor to work with these actors and I’d learn a lot from them and do my best to be “Choi Eun Soo”,” she said.

The drama will be airing right after “The Birth of The Rich” every Mondays and Tuesdays beginning April 26.
